I wonder if the simulation could be made more life-like if the fluid could be compressible. Fire is actually plasma caused by exothermic energy of oxidation. The medium being oxidized are the hot combustible fumes. Once they ignite the pressure increases and provides some positive outflow from the modeled cell. This simulation assumes there are only flames, with no source of fuel i.e. combustible gas but in reality it is often possible to observe that the fumes rising from a hot material start burning only at some distance form the material itself. Does oxidizing plasma has a different density than hot fumes? I don't know but it seems it should be less dense providing increased pressure on ignition.
Great channel. Nice simulations. Have you thought of electromagnetic simulations much - radio-wave generation and propagation and the like? Thanks. Subscribed long ago. Cheers
super nice video thanks. I will maybe use it to have a 2D animated texture in my game. Would the same thing work it 3D? Swirl should be then a sphere with some Rotation?
Really great tutorials. I've gone through it twice and coded it in C++. Questionable performance due to my lacking coding skill. When will we get a Matthias Müller Godot Engine? :D
wow, backwards name guy just banned me from your discord because i mentioned th eoj simpson mkultra child rape coverup in off topic. i guess, not so off topic huh.
good sir EVERY video you make is sooooo helpful.

Just discovered your channel/content from a friend, very well explained and awesome that you provide the code too, I hope you keep up the great work!
hell yeah dude, I'm working on reimplementing this stuff with multithreading thanks for the awesome tutorials
Wow this is what I'm looking for, great job
Nice video Mathias! Do you have any video or tutorial for PBD Rigid bodies?
Thanks! what I'm looking for.
Damnnn that looks awesome! I'll try building it in SDL or Qt...

LOVE THE VIDEOS!!!!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!
Could you do: Moving Least Squares Material Point Method ????
Could you make a video explaining the Poisson equation using a mesh free method?
Wonderful, thanks ❤
Great video as always!
That's FIRE!
Is there is a book that go through physic simulation
Can I understand this to a fluid method but with up force consistently?
Amazing,
Please consider helping Blender community to implement XPBD physics, you are the one that can do it, that would be great!
That would be cool
XPBD is patented by Nvidia, there is no way it will be incorporated into major open source projects.
@keldencowan
There are different open source project implementing XPBD, and someone already implemented part of it in blender in google summer code

I haven't watched but can you make it scroll? That's all we need to teleport back to 1996!
😩 "Promo sm"
Amazing,
