Eddie, the titular antagonist of Need for Speed Underground that's hyped up massively from the start to the end of the game. Is he really this good of a racer, or is he all show and no go?

To be honest I should have expected this first time I did this event, whenever Samantha talked about Eddie she just said his car was unreal, but never really said he was an incredible driver. On another note though I think Eddie would be the type to be like “whatever, man” after losing, after all, you beat his crew multiple times and his response was “you bore me”, kinda like he didn’t care about their loss or didn’t feel intimidated by it. Another thing that supports this is the fact that when he pairs you against Samantha he says he doesn’t consider you special because he already did what you did, further proving that he will brush off whatever accomplishments you make.
Late to reply but looking back, yeah, he probably wouldn't care. Just keep his head down after losing. I simply found it funnier to make him """rage""".
@@Choccykituwu I totally get it, it’s entertainment value, and it does work out imo.
And in NFS 2015 his challenges are still mainly given by Melissa, she's the one who runs Eastsiders maybe.
@@sunray2818 Hey, I never thought about that possibility, but it checks out since she’s the secret final boss in Underground too, but since nobody on the street racing world talked about her it was probably kept as a secret and she had Eddie doing all the heavy lifting.

I'm currently re-playing nfsu1 on an gamecube emulator in my phone rn, I remember back in 2016 when I was like 6 I asked my dad to beat eddie for me because i literally couldn't even do it on easy mode, but my dad literally defeated him in hard mode in front of me, i was so shocked back then and now I'm trying to play the entire game in hard mode (except drift events because nuh uh)
I wish you luck in trying to beat the entire game on hard mode!

Played nfsu1 when it came out when I was 11. Same time Tony hawk underground was out and as a kid I was like why tf is everyone obsessed with "underground" being 32 now. Nfsu 1 has to be the hardest game in the nfsu series next to carbon, 2005 most wanted and the hot pursuit 2010 one. If you actually add difficulty to them

I like the S2000, but the acceleration isn't good. I'd much rather have the Mazda Miata MX-5. That car can shred some corners, especially if TJ's upgrades are all handling-focused.
I have all the handling based TJ upgrades on my S2000. I use it because it really meshes well with my driving style, but I do agree that the acceleration is a bit lacking.
