  • In my opinion this is one of, if not the most, beautiful pawn storm that I have seen in a chess game. It was played in 1834, in the fourth of six matches between two of the world's strongest players of their time, Louis Charles de Labourdonnais and Alexander McDonnell.

Thanks - as long as my health stays okay I'll continue to do it. The issue for me in the past is that I like to teach chess but the content creation process has not been so much fun, but I'm trying to improve on this so let's see how it goes!

Beautiful game, thank you for clearly going over it move by move. Pawn storms is definitely something I would love to improve on

Thanks Gavin. In general I think pawn storms is not something you can focus on to learn - but rather the bigger topic is 'pawn structures'. For sure I'll make some videos about that as it's often overlooked but in my opinion one of the most important things to learn in order to improve your chess.
