I enjoy your videos. It's really fulfilling to see someone do a first-class professional job. Thanks for sharing your challenges and your accomplishments.
Thanks! Sometimes I have to think about those problems for a day or two. I'd hate to accidently show the wrong way to do something without knowing any better.
Some problems are never solved on the same day. When I have problems that I actually solved, I try to pass that knowledge onto others so they can hopefully be able to solve similar problems. Despite what my grade8 math teacher said. It turns out that there can be multiple ways to reach the same answer to a problem
Thanks for your videos Dave!! I enjoy them very much and love to see your continues improvement. Have to say that the Ram you chose is a very good source of parts 😁
Thanks Ronnie! Without the complete Ram truck for parts, this project would have been way more difficult than it already is haha. I suppose this build is way more than "just a simple engine swap"!
dave i m talking about 3 compnants drive shaft-2 universal joint that just slip on drive shaft you can conn them about 6 diff way the correct way is line up tiny arrows both ends of drive shaft so both universal joints are flexing same direction as shaft turns
i know from my m37 project they are not cheap i bought mine to restore to the best of my ability iwas in koiwrean war in motor pool when these were new i try to keep as close to original as poss. by replacing same type parts mine was reg last in 2007 in ga. i found it in 2011 in a junk yard took a set of points to get running 1 point was burned off so they did not touch just hearing it was all i needed to start to spend LOL
while watching you check out that drive shaft i remembered this if you dont line up the arrows on universal joints both ends with the arrows on the shaft it will whine while running down highway
I got the A/C relocation bracket from Adventure Vehicles NW. The hydroboost braking system was already on the Cummins truck and I just freshened it up.

Wow! Thanks for the compliment!
Plus les jours passent, plus ce véhicule mythique devient neuf, c'est un travail de passionné et de longue haleine !
Love your vids. Keep em coming. Excited for the first start.
I'm so pumped so the first start! I just have to do the "cooking by the book" first.
Man this build is just trucking along. I love the video and the way you solve problems. Keep the good work

I'll give em a double check!- the driveshaft was sent out balanced to me in that fashion so I expect it to work without issue.
a visual look at each end two small arrowers point at each other is all it takes if in error they arent that hard to correct
waiting for your new video!!
Soon! I'll have it up in 3 hours!
Did you have a target cost on this project and are you close to your estimate? Great project!
This is a tricky one because my wife and I are expecting our first child in late August, so I think I'm on track- or at least hope to be!
