I've been working on my set for 40yrs. I'm down to 3 dates 1913s TY2, 26s and 21s. I can tell you they are tough. I know they are out there somewhere for a decent price. Just have to keep looking and be lucky!! Awesome video, thanks for posting. I wish they had this info out there back in the day (early 80's). Lol

It’s interesting how people pre hoarding effects the value so much. I think the age of information could almost ruin collecting because with all the information out there everyone knows what could be worth value but because so many people expect the value to rise it just doesn’t
Excellent point. I think that is, at least in part, why variety collecting has become a lot more popular. I don't think it will "ruin" the hobby as such though, people will find new ways to collect.

I hope you’re right. I don’t want coin collecting to go the same way that stamp collecting is. I guess that in part is because stamps are a lot less common than coins.. for now at least. I guess I would have to know more about the history of coin collecting to make a truly educated guess. It is fun to speculate though

Hello I know it's been a while since you made this video, but I wanted to ask you about a 1936 buffalo nickel I have in mint condition from my Grandmother...The weird thing is it has no mint strike....I'm like 99% it's not there...and no it didnt fade /rub off.

1936 had the highest mintage figure in the entire Buffalo series, so it would have to be a very high grade coin to be worth much.

I have 250 2005 d uncirculated buffalo nickels half are error coins in the rolls and front the mint. What is the value of my small stock of 1 with a wonderful cameo color with a ddo and a holder mark on it

I have a buffalo nickel that has extra metal stuck on the Indians head and reverse is bulging out can't see the date covered with extra metal. Any suggestions
I have 2 Buffalo, one have no year no Mint marks this other i can see 27 but no Mint mark, those have any value?
1927 is not really a rare date for the buffalo nickel and if the date has been worn away then the coin is only worth a few dollars at best.

I only have the '26s but it is one of the favorites in my collection. It is the only coin I have that has a mintage under 1 million.

Both of those dates have fairly significant mintages, so unless they are in very high grades it probably wont set any new records.

Cesar Palomares I don’t know if you got your answer but depending on condition and mint mark as well as if all the legs are visible my Cherrypicker’s guide says nothing on the 1926 but I know it is a low minted year and very sought after nickel. Don’t stop looking into that coin. The 1936 can be worth 2.50 on up depending on mint mark and condition. But there are channels out there where you can get into chats... Good Luck 🍀

If you mean Muriatic acid, then I would strongly advise against it. Seriously, please don't do it to your coins.
Never clean ur coins, They are worth far more dirty, cleaning will always damage and decrease the value,
