Stunning idea for a music video if you're a band on a budget! As a guy, I feel like I'm missing out on a certain part of Depeche Mode, because while I can appreciate Dave Gahan's skill as a singer, I'm only aware of "sexy" consciously, I never considered that I'd certainly experience the vocals differently if I were gay/female. Everyone is so used to thinking they know what effortlessly cool looks like in media, but when you see Emily, you remember that REAL sexy doesn't need to try! I've never seen "badass" work as a vibe because it always comes with ego, but she actually IS badass and that's exactly what the band needs :D

As someone who spent a few hours in the bars and clubs like that, you might be surprised to know that that crowd at the back that doesn’t seem like they’re paying attention, probably not only is paying attention, but marks the show as something they really enjoy. Thought at first this was an actual live recording. Really cool concept for an original music video. Uncut scene from start to finish in a mostly empty bar with studio recording overdubbing the live music. I dig it. Especially when she exits the stage to go dance around at the end.
