I agree with CJ, it is better to put it out there and if you get the job then they appreciate you for what you have to offer and not focus on your sexuality

Lol the sentiment is nice but the reality is very different… CJ is saying 1 out of 10, the reality is 1 out of 100… and the thing is even when you're going for that that doesn't guarantee that you will get it. There could also be another queer person or people who is/are more qualified…
But I agree with their take about nepotism and training companies on discrimination

Ahhh, I disagree.. You can't tell people to wear their sexuality in an interview or their different job environment.. Recognize You Are Human before your sexuality please, your everyday life shouldn't be only about your sexuality.. I owe no one an explanation about my personal life if per adventure I get recognized in my place of work as "Queer" and I'm being dismissed the only explanations I'll need is not from me but From them! The society is homophobic and there's no right or law protecting a Queer person but there are laws and rights protecting your existence as a Human being.. Your Aura too can protect you.. Life continues. You get employed by heterosexual owned businesses you don't have to be expressive about your personal life you are there to do just your JOB nothing else.. putting sexuality out there minimizes chances of survival in a homophobic country as Nigeria.. just be yourself.. please do not misunderstand my comment.. cheers 🥂
