You should do a video on effective music marketing techniques, such as what works and what doesn't, where to go, how to get started, how to get the most on a limited budget, maybe even totaling up the cost of a first mixtape or a album which would include beats, studio time, and promotion expenses.
also, you should explain the difference between marketing and paying for views and likes.

I totally agree agree with this. I've been making beats for 9 years, and haven't found the tiniest amount of success until recently. Wanting to be a creator, I didn't originally value business because I didn't view it as a creative art form. With in the last year or so, I've been working on having more a business approach to my music and brand and I've been seeing more success as a result. Also, I've learned that business is an art form as well because without clever marketing tactics, people won't buy your product. You speak the truth on this, Rob.

Have you ever thought about starting a label and actually managing and helping artists that you like? With all your knowledge you could probably really help people beyond just these videos. what's the best way to learn business skills and how the business works?
They offer many online courses and if you're still in school, they offer a class on business management. If you don't wanna do either, I recommend watching interviews with rappers and study what they did to get where they were.
I can recommend a bunch of great books but it depends on a lot of factors. As weird as it sounds, start watching Shark Tank, The Profit, Billion Dollar Buyer and other business shows and you'll learn a lot of basics from businesses that are shown.
Look at business management, marketing, online/media marketing, finance, and accounting. There are online courses, classes and programs you can find online. Fatkiddeals.com has a lot of things they sell at a discount, but its where I get my class/courses bought.
