I stayed in Osaka for 3 months, in Ikuno ward so it's a surprise and really cool to see it pop up on your channel. I was just a station away from Tsuruhashi in Imazato. There has been a ton of Osaka content lately from all corners of the internet so it's been cool to see but also makes me jealous that I'm not there anymore. After traveling around Asia since February of 2022, Osaka has been my favorite place hands down, and I'm working to go back ASAP and to stay for longer than just the usual 3 months that a tourist visa allows. I really recommend Osaka to anyone interested in visiting Japan. I know most people try to fit in as many places in as little time as possible, usually just staying for a week or so, but if you can please stay longer, it is so much more rewarding, and staying in the same place the whole time really allows you a deeper understanding and appreciation. If you go to Osaka it's really easy to also visit Nara and Kyoto, for just a few dollars and an hour or less on the train, so you can see more than just the city but you don't have to lose time like if you go between Tokyo and Hiroshima or something like that. Just my two cents but everyone enjoys traveling in their own way.
I had one of my first sit down meals at that Yoshinoya next to the Dotonbori sign. Now I'm craving a rice bowl.

Do you use cloudy white balance on rainy days such as this, or do you prefer to leave it on auto white balance?

im not from japan how far/long would you say the drive is to most of places you go to

I’m not sure what you mean exactly but from tokyo you can drive 1h south to go to Kamakura and 2h west for Mt Fuji.
Kyoto and Osaka is 8+hours so not ideal but it depends where you go from
