- In this video i go in depth explaining why Jotaro is both stronger and faster than Giorno, GIORNO is Overhyped like crazy within the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Community and i like to put my two cents to prove Why JOTARO is much STRONGER and FASTER Than Giorno.

Good facts: One thing tho.
The reason why Jotaro was able to stop Pucci as well is because Pucci ACCELERATES Time. Stopping time would mean you stop his abilities altogether but it was shown that he's abilities was still affected by Made In Heaven's ability. So no go for infinite speed, although reaction speed might be close to infinite since he is able to keep up with Pucci. Yes Jotaro could beat Pucci but Pucci could still beat Jotaro. Basically a 50/50 on who strikes first. GER can cancel his time stop still as it was shown to able to with skipped time. Skipped time beats time stop if both abilities happened at the same time.
GER absolutely destroys Jotaro
Reason 1: Since Time stop well, stops time, skipping time means you'd still go past the time stop thus rendering it useless and considering the fact that Diavolo's time skip lasts for 10 seconds just makes a 5 second time stop useless.
And 2: Jotaro didn't overcome DIO's time stop, he stopped time the moment DIO's 9 second time stop was over and it was shown that DIO could move in other people's time stop as long as Jotaro could as he thought he could stop time for *11* seconds but he just unknowingly used all his 2 seconds of movement in Jotaro's world.
and 3rd: Star Platinum is the strongest stand in the guide books, but it was never stated to be so strong that it could not be scaled to any stands whatsoever proving GER is stronger than Star Platinum. Was able to bust a pillar by moving a finger to flick a pebble so fast that Diavolo who blitzed the hell out of Silver Chariot which could be stronger than in the original Stardust Crusaders EVEN with epitaph could not see the damn thing, didn't even use a thumb to increase it's force and absolutely destroyed the stand to the point that it's sub-stand fell off. BUT if you want to say that it only refers to the original stand stats only for part 5 then GER scales above Notorious B.I.G who has infinite range, permanence, and speed as well as scaling above King Crimson who mutilated Polnareff's body to the point he lost almost his whole lower body. Soooo yeah, GER destroys star platinum

Facts
theres a difference between time stop and time skip/erease, joatro can actually do damge in a time stop but diavolo could just avoid damage and reposition him self, also if jotaro trained his time stop it could be more than 10 seconds. Star platinum was said to be the most invincible stand, thats more than enough to proove it's stronegr than ger and if you say they say ger scales above all abilities they meant ones shown in part 5, but the shear strength and speed of sp will beat it, i mean when he was beatdowning kira he had holes everywhere and was moving faster than light speed showing that when his normal his speed is almost infinte like shown in the video. also for rtz like you said skipped time, time still exist for diavolo and is not stopped so you can techincally move with resistance but if time grinds to a halt nothing happens and rtz won't work
Jotaro didn't "overpower" DIO's time stop, it "overflowed" it, in any case.
Jotaro simply started using his own seconds of stopped time right before DIO's seconds ran out, so he got frozen because he didn't have any more time to stop.

@@mageninjaballer1449 example is jotaro can move 2 seconds in dios time stop. Dio can move 2 seconds in jotaros time stop and jotaro started his time stop at the last 2 seconds of dios so dio unknowlingly used all his movement seconds thinking it was his on time stop

I always believed that jotaro was stronger and faster than ger but ger was better due to his return to zero ability which makes him unbeatable. But I still think that ger couldn't defeat jotaro in a fight, since Star Platinum's power, speed and time stop ability would be able to protect him from ger. There would be a draw. But because Jotaro still has superior speed, precision and strength, he can be considered "the strongest stand" or "stronger than ger".
Also, because Diavolo lost to ger doesn't mean ger can defeat everyone else or even Jotaro. King Crimson has an E in Durability which makes him really easy to beat up and defeat for ger. Plus Diavolo was completely stunned by confusion while Giorno was approaching him. If he kept his focus and maybe runned away, he would not be cornered and definitely not lose to ger.
Also I wonder: revert to zero happens after the time manipulation has ended (that's why rtz activated right after time had skipped and Diavolo was just about to land his attack, not during the time erase itself). If that's so, what if Jotaro stopped time and demolished Giorno's body (for example took off his head, crashed it completely, then did the same for his heart). All this so that he can be dead 100% once time resumes. If rtz activates itself after the time manipulation has ended and in this case Giorno has already died during time stop, would rtz still happen?
Would the 0.1 nanosecond of Giorno being alive after time stop, before his body could react to the damage and before his soul would leave, be enough for GER to activate rtz?
I don't believe that Giorno would be able to even RTZ the Timestop, Jotaros ability has shown throughout the story to always overpower that of other users. That including the fact that his ability is stated to be the strongest EVER Just futher supports the fact that RTZ wouldn' t work on Jotaros Timestop. @@MRForca Your point is actually very interesting. Araki has even called Star Platinum the ultimate stand (in part 6, pucci mainly calls it that) . That kinda proves his superiority. Also, we haven't really seen how many time based stands would interact with each other, like time stop with time erase, time stop with rtz etc. And sadly we'll probably never see them.

Jotaro doesn't beat DIO's time stop, he only starts his the moment DIO's ends.
While the video is well made, it ignores lot about why Jotaro can beat GER. The databooks strictly looks at the ability as the strongest thing SP has. Which brings up this debate, can time stop effectively stop GER from moving? If yes, that would mean SP has the strongest ability. But if no, GER will always top SP. In part 5, we see that GER is capable of rewriting fate that was 100% true (Epitaph shows the future, GER also says that it was correct). GER also moved in erased time, which not only puts Diavolo outside of Fate for 5 minutes but is similar to Time Stop. Meaning GER can interact in events where fate is being manipulated.
All in all, good video. I wanna believe that Time Stop can beat GER but we can't confirm that.
diavalos ability isnt to erase time its to make the 10 seconds of time be forgotten by anyone affected by it and GER can not rewrite fate because no where does it say diavalos ability allows him to be outside fate
@@lololololol7521 It quite literally erases it, why would Araki explain it as erasing time in every single explanation and all of sudden it's not. GER's ability quite strictly rewrites fate, it's shown doing that though Epitaph showing Giorno die and GER rewriting that. Diavolo is also outside of fate during erased time, pay attention to the details.
King Crimson erases time, and due to how fate is linear, those events would happen no matter what. If Diavolo skipped time, it would contradict how his ability is shown, because we visibly see Diavolo move in erased time, we never see Diavolo skip to the place he wants to be, he moves in that erased time.
Rewatch and read on King Crimson, he is not that complex.

@@lololololol7521 simply looking at what actually happens in arc proves you wrong. GER quite literally says that Diavolo was right to believe Giorno would die but he changed that. We know Epitaph is true. Plus, only Diavolo can move in erased time, which activately puts him above fate. GER moving in erased time means he is above fate. Pay attention to how stands are described. Diavolo always calls it 'erasing time'.

Someone already made some counter arguments but i also want to add to the fact that jotaro wasn’t anywhere close to pucci whatsoever. He was never able to keep up and infact got blitzed. People say jotaro was held back but it’s quite the opposite seeing as how anassui fucking carried on the final battle. Literally the only reason they got to the ocean and this is all ignoring the fact pucci literally said he had to target anassui first

I love this question so much. I personally think it comes down to if GER needs to react to something to work. If it doesn't GER has an easy win. If it needs to react to activate its ability then SP could Concivalby win by completely destroying Giorno's brain (would not be able to reset damage as he is already dead.) before time resumes. that being said SP probably only has one shot to make this work.
I remember seeing a thing where it’s like because Jotaro went in the trip for 50 days it caused trauma so when Dio was fighting Jotaro all of the trauma caused Jotaro to be able to stop time as well

all good facts but the reason why ger's ability is the best is due to the fact that it can nulify any thing that isint in the favour of the user if u research rtz u will see that even time stop is effected where giorano can just rtz it return to normal like he did with time erace and also witht he fact it can heal and nulify jotaros attacks phsicaly star platnum in stronger but with ability ger got the edge
Pucci destroyed the universe via hax it’s not his durability specifically just his resistance to his own ability. Star Platinum doesn’t have universal AP…..
Star Platinum would also not have infinite speed at all… he only could’ve hit Pucci during stopped time, because while time is stopped Jotaro is moving at inaccessible speed. Inaccessible speed > infinite speed. Pucci didn’t even have infinite speed at that moment and was able to blitz Jotaro many times. This is shown when he seemingly hits Pucci all while Pucci sliced his neck. If Jotaro had the ability to do infinite actions in a finite amount of time he would have been hit by any of Dio’s knives. Star Platinum having infinite speed leaves an insane amount of plot holes.
Ability of star platinum is not stopping time it's being same type of the world.

Also jotaros time stop wind up is faster than the world
number one in part 4 jotaro almost getting uppercutted by cd and josuke states that cd moves around 300 miles per hour so the wind up is not faster and also when dio is about to get his head bashed in he still stops time and i'm guessing cd and tw/sp have similar physical abilities. number 2 we have seen in jojo games that jotaro windup is just as fast as dios if not then faster but jotaro is known for having a shorter time stop so he would have a low windup and the opposite for dio. number three to stop time fast you would need good reflexes or good reaction speed, dio is a vampire i wouldn't be surprised if he would have better reflexes and reaction speed.
to sum this up they have the same windup because its the same type of stand the only reason why jotaro time stop windup is faster for the world is because for the eyes of heaven its more balanced to have a short time stop and short wind up for jotaro. and for the arcade games there the same windup speed.

To be clear, absolutely no one can beat Giorno with GER, his ability literally allows him to ensure that he is never beaten, and that's regardless of the opponent's stats and powers. .
yea i dont get why people say diavolo can timeskip past time stop U CANT LMAO it dosnt matter if it happens before, after, or the same time. u cant erase time thats been stopped it completely canceles out or 10 seconds of erasing time. your just gonna erase the time after timestop but it dosnt negitate the damage u take in timestop so either way jotaro still folds. but ger? we jotaro vs ger we cant really say since they havent fought. everyone assumes off gers ability but it can be wrong. its like every anime character vs anime character from different animes. Say this guy has a 1 tap ability in a rpg isekai anime but in the other anime the guy is god, who would win? he isnt the god of the rpg but the rpg guy isnt in an rpg when he fights either both instantly loose there abilitys. or in another sense, a guy who can 1 shot with fists or a guy with magical powers both loose there strength and powers since they wont fight in there world if they do which world they fight in determines the winner.
i also know how ger vs sp would turn out. ger negs jotaros timestop so jotaro justs attacks ger without timestop, boom sp wins. the negitate ability thing dosnt stun the user it only stunned diavolo because it was erasing time not stopping time. but thats all an assumption who would actually know what happens? no one unless araki tells us

However time stop is already stated to be the strongest ability and diavolo only erases the perception of time, not time itself
I am not a GER fan but it is undeniable that GER at the moment of rtz diavolo they all returned to the same position where diavolo started, he negated absolutely everything diavolo did in that time.
GER won't activate until jotaro is about to strike giorno like in the diavolo's fight.

I don't think anything would bypass rtz. If it can work in erased time, it certainly can work in stopped time aswell. Also, aint no way jotaros stand is the "greatest ability".
Yeah anything cannot surpass GER even Tusk 4's infinity rotation lets face it, GER could destroy a time eraser what is in people's head saying that GER cannot defeat infinite rotation when Johnny did it doing a reverse infinite rotation.

GER is above time as a consept. So if jotato uses time stop it will be cancelled out by GER
GER was never confirmed to be above time. He only used Return to Zero AFTER king crimson used time erase, just watch the details closely in the Giorno vs Diavolo fight. Also, when Diavolo DID have the intention of hurting Giorno, GER still didn't revert time erase until when it was done.

things that don't really make sense in this video, if jotaro has universe busting strength than how did jolyne hurt pucci?, yea jotaros stand is insanely fast which was why he was able to keep up with pucci (pucci gets faster as the universe reset continues) and if he was able to keep up with made in heaven how did pucci outspeed him if jotaro could have just deflected the attack?, also there is no proof time stop can bypass 0, yea he was able to overpower dios time stop but giorino was able to overpower diavolos time erase and revert it to zero, so by that sense the same would happen to jotaro until he gets tired
It was destined for Diavolo to kill Giorno at least within Diavolo's ability. Only Diavolo could move within his ability, but GER did break his ability. GER changed something in the future before it happened.

If Jotaro were to stop time, GER and Giorno would not be frozen in stop time.. meaning, he would literally be able to move around just like jotaro in stopped time or he can cancel it.. basically GER is a HARD counter to Star Platinum
GER doesn't control time, it nullifies actions. If Jotaro were to stop time and barrage Giorno or GER, the damage provided would simply return to zero, making GER move within that timestop, thus reverting it like nothing happened. Yeah, Giorno would be damaged, but GER is automatic.

time erase is way different than timestop, time erase is just everybody except diavolo being unconscious and carrying out their actions according to fate. time stop is just time being halted

Ger can’t reset whole time is stopped, so if jotaro stopped time he could kill him
The reason ger isn't referred to has having the strongest stand ability is because its an ability granted by requiem and is only temporary has later Giorno drops the arrow and gives it to polnareff. Jotaro also needed the help of anasui to beat pucci so he isn't exactly more powerful then made in heaven. All of star platinums stats are also ranked yet ger's stats are all undefined because they can't be measured. Even if jotaro is stronger/faster it doesn't matter when ger's ability prevents anyone from doing anything to him. Jotaro can't do anything against stands like cheap trick and almost lost to a rat in part 4, ger on the other hand doesn't have a weakness with the only stands that might be able to harm it being tusk and soft and wet.
