  • Initially, I put in some stills followed by take-off Kaneohe NAS DACT follows with F-16's and F-15s in MOA off of Oahu. Number 2 on takeoff is about 10 feet off the deck followed by max climb then aeleron roll to level off in full burner. The F-15 stays in frame as we are in a fight "turn circle" with the Eagle and hard to keep in frame as we are pulling G's throughout. Old video tech so a little grainy. Apologies but still something you don't see often. The audio is very old and taken from an intercept mission, 2 v 1 F-16 training mission over European airspace. This is somewhat famous within the flying community. Most of us have had some type of physiologic event while flying, pulling G's but rarely is it mentioned or recorded. The pilot in question is most likely over it by now but he will remain anonymous. A close friend of mine had an identical issue. I personally had urine sprayed in my face when my front seater asked if i wanted the controls and I declined as I was using the piddle pack at the time. He immediately input 2-3 negative G's and my flow forcefully reversed path and sprayed me in the face and neck, the canopy, etc. We still laugh about that one. The inverted route formation off lead upon return (RTB) looks and is cool but actually is very hard on the pilot as it requires tolerating 2 - 2.5 negative G's to maintain that attitude. Negative G's suck compared to 7-9 pulling G's. To any pilot out there, we are in the MOA and not conducting acrobatics outside the MOA so relax. Any fighter pilot who is honest will tell you that a clean F-16B or F-16D (no tanks our weaponary attached to the aircraft), at the merge can out turn any 4th Generation fighter in the inventory including Eagles and Hornets (F-18). The 5th Gen fighters? A different story. You are usually dead before you see them visually or see them on radar.
