While the look and atmosphere is heavily Bloodborne, the gameplay and even some of the items are more Sekiro. (Cube = a fancier version of Rice, Perfect Guards, posture, ect.)
@@TimothyGod I upgraded my cube to 3 uses now. Physick was more flexible, but still only one use. For awhile you had to keep running back to that dude to get 1 wishcube at a time, which was very much like Rice in Sekiro. Now that I've played further (almost finished NG+1) you can have as many cube uses as you want so my perspective is a little different now. I would say it is an improved version of rice because it's easier to get and more uses too.
Sony acquired Bluepoint (the developer behind the Demon's Souls remake), so we may end up getting a BloodBorne remake after all, it just wont be from FromSoftware. But, after seeing the quality of the Demon's Souls remake I dont think anyone would be disappointed with that lol. 2025 is BloodBorne's 10 yr anniversary, and Sony acquired Bluepoint back in 2021, which would give them 4 years to get a BB remake ready. Sony knows a BloodBorne remake is easy money, and the Demon's Souls remake is clearly what prompted Sony to acquire Bluepoint in the first place. The most obvious reason why would be...Sony wants more remakes lol 🙏
Ofcourse it took some inspiration from bloodborne. But it is a whole different game in it's own right. Love it so far.
Me too! I have no complaints, it scratches that BB2 itch a bit 😁
even this random corner of a street looks like Bloodborne
How the fuck do we not have a BB goated 60fps yet?
This is the review I was waiting for.
It’s amazing and if you’re a BB fan you’ll enjoy it! Lots of the same elements and combat strategies. 😁
Heh. I see what you did there 😂😭 this deserves so many more likes

I would not even go that far.
I don't know why people aren't saying "wishcube = physick flask"

good one
More like Sekiro 0.5
Haven't seen this Lies yet, but a lore as deep, mystical, magical as in Bloodborne? Very hard.
If argue it's deeper. It's quite well written, and was really well told
Wait this isn’t bloodborne 😂😂😂
Right?!? It’s so so good
lack depth and context...
When people compare Bloodborne and Lies of P it’s “beating a dead horse” 😉 hope that gives some context and depth
