Hunter One let me know if it’s any good cuz I hear a lot of reviews on other guns saying they are over priced for the power and a lot of problems like they break or malfunction quick
It's not to long and would make a great brush removing piece of equipment. Since it's a single shot, you can swing it around and kill everything in sight. You can attach an ax head to it and cut down trees. You can tie a string and hook to it and catch fish. Attach a shovel or broom head to it. You can test the thickness of the ice when fishing in the winter. It's a great all around survival weapon.
THAT INTRO! THAT CHEST HAIR! THAT FRO! OMG! Man, you studied him well......LMBO! I forgot this was a airgun review....lol. Had the chance to shoot this gun that Hunter1 just bought and she is accurate. Touching holes at 200 yards with the NSA 350's
For those wanting to see some additional velocity tests, check out this link to some of the chronograph testing that was done by Mr. Hollowpoint using stock Texan witih the TX2 valve: facebook.com/AirForceAirguns/photos/a.312102848857883/2245933742141441/?type=3&theater
One correction: the 50 yard group was shot with the NSA 290gr slugs, not the 350gr slugs. Also, here's a link to some additional chronograph testing with very heavy slugs: facebook.com/AirForceAirguns/photos/a.312102848857883/2245933742141441/?type=3&theater
I would like to see outdoor decibel ratings of the .50 Texan LSS vs the un-suppressed carbine .50. The primary consideration for purchasing the LSS model is how quite the moderator makes the shot. This information is not available on the Airforce website and requests for the decibel ratings from them has not been answered.
That's an artful painting class. The painting alone worth a thousand awesomeness especially the one in LSS .45 cal style. Start saving my $1 for turkey day. But why a .257 still better than .308? Any explanation sir?
The .257 bullets just seem to fly better, better BC's than similar bullets in .308 means a flatter trajectory and better accuracy. Also, .257 has been the go-to caliber for folks modifying the condor into a big bore for quite some time so there seems to be a better selection of ammo out there as well.
@@AirForceAirguns1 Thank you for the explanation and it does make sense for flatter trajectory of the projectiles since the V2 valve is the same as .308 cal. It also true that the .257 got more slugs selection. But why Airforce didn't make a regulator built on top of the bottle for more shot count and consistent shooting? I think everyone would be very happy to upgrades their bottles. I know I would...just a suggestion 👏😍👍
I appreciate the DB meter, what does the shorter suppressed model register. trying to compare relative length and sound velocity decrease and of course accuracy will be marginally less with less of a tube.?
I wish I bought that I bought a hatsan blitz Knowing very little But I thought I was going to use a pump Then after they sent it they said I need a paint ball gun store to get the first fill To set seals ?
When the Hammer comes out it will compete with the Texan but it's hard to say how it compares because the Hammer isn't out yet. So we don't know how accurate it will be or how it will perform in any way.
It depends on the type of seals. Anything with a rubber or softer based o-ring should not be left under pressure for anything past normal use. Anything with copper ring gaskets should be fine for quite a long time. Do be aware that all seals left under pressure, especially at 3K+ PSI, will eventually fail. Probably not the best firearm for some form of home defense unless you use a high quality ball valve between the tank and the firing valve.
@Bryan Rutkowski he must have not got the memo send instructions anything under 1200 PSI is bad for your gun.. I have kept my Benjamin bulldog full for 7 years and never linked and never will link air
17:45 I see those EARPLUGS! I guess it's not that quiet after all. ;-p (He admits that it's 113dB in his enclosed space.) Alas, I'm pretty sure this would scare off all the "targets" after the first shot. Too bad they can't make a really QUIET rifle with enough power to take down a full-sized "target". I wonder how the new CF version compares.
It's got quite a few tricks up its sleeve. Removing the return spring was a big part of the redesign, it also allowed us to remove the spring retainer which blocked some airflow, making the new valve more efficient. We've also redesigned the valve pin, the valve seat, and the valve body to flow more air and to be overall a smoother operating system.
@@AirForceAirguns1 Sounds good, however is understand this is NOT the CF tank with 250 bar fill, but still the first aluminum tank with 200BAR, correct? so the CF will gain another 100 joules to it? Looking forward to your reply pleas. im in the market to buy this great pcp, however it seems the supliers here try to get rid of the 'old stock' first, without the cf 250bar bottles so less power. Please let me know. thanks in advance. grts.
Oh lord that intro was worthy of an Airgun Academy Award. Great job Travis.
Haha thanks!
Damn right👍😂
We had some very similar in Vietnam. On the firebases. Only they had two wheels and a hitch. And were called a Cannon!
Awesome Video !!! Lori and I loved the intro !!! We were rolling 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Great shooting Travis ! 👊👊👊.
loved the opening of the video. I do believe that this is a rifle that I will need in my collection.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 your bob ross impersonation is right on point!!!!!
Mate you know that 😂😂😂
The very best Bob Ross ever and I mean EVVEEERRRR!!
Haha thank you!
Ordered mine in .457 today. Thanks!

oh jeebus, that smile, and not to mention the paint brush xD
I think the paint "knife" still had a Walmart sticker on it.
Man you guys have such creative intros I love it. Great information thank you for sharing

Best rendition of the late Bob Ross that I've seen so far!
Oh yeah....and the gun is awesome as well!

would love to see another full review on the .257 LSS
"The Texan LSS is a happy little gun ,you know its powerful and quit" that cracked me up hardcore. You guys take it too far with the comedy. Loved it!
Thanks!
very nice opening! Loved the hair!
Best intro ever, very good video. I hope your bosses know how awesome you are.
Thanks a lot!
As an Army vet, I love this gun. I hope to be able to afford it. I will do anything that I can to get this rifle. Love this
This gun is so sick!!!! The accuracy on those .45 cal was ridiculous!!!!!

@@fathifathi490 only .457
Excellent and accurate and made in the USA LIFETIME WARRANTY 💯🇺🇸😁💪
Awesome homage to Bob Ross!
You have talent, IMO.
Nice gun vid, too!
Thanks a lot!
great intro
Great shooting man! Wondering if i should use the 350 also in my Carbine! I have a Carbine with the TX2 valve.
You could try them, but the NSA 290s might work better in the shorter barreled gun.
Oh my God I thought I'd press the wrong thumbnail when I saw that guy who painted on public television 😂
Congratulations on a VERY good video on a very good gun. Thanks
The intro was great .. And i own .357.
This video always makes me lMAO. Sure miss working with y'all.
Im dying....hahahaha!!!! This intro....
Outstanding! The air powered Kentucky rifle!
LOL

We'll try and do a comparison.
Nice, but are there any options for the shoulder stock?? The existing "shoulder stock" looks miserably uncomfortable.
Smashed it mate. 🤣🤣🤣🤣Love Bob Ross.
Back from the grave, and his soul merged with Bob Rosses!
Great video, thanks.
I'm looking In to getting one Roy
LOL...LOVE THE INTRO...AWESOME
So these guns seem perfect if you normally haul around a scuba tank in your pack ....

Accuracy will improve after tuning properly as well.

137 db on the texan ss
LoL......!!! OMG... that was gold !!!
Nice 👍
Great, now I want a camera filter that makes it look like I'm in a Bob Ross painting! XD
Love the intro!
I don't care about the length at all it feels more powerful and more accurate with the extra length added to it
My beer still running out of my nose. Awesome video. You made my day. LMAO
If you could make the can easy to take off for transportation it would be a lot more appealing to me
I love these rigs but the dove tail, even to shis day, I mean . . . . common man.
The Gunpower Texan with an A+M suppressor is all you need.cuts the audible down by half
He he he lol love the bob Ross dude
Dude, that's some funny shit right there!
Interesting echo in that pipe shooting range. I bet somebody can use that sound in a rock song. :)
I just purchased this Awesome gun . I'm shooting the NSA 350 grain hollow points . Where do I set my power wheel for this round ?
Wow nice ammo. I'm shooting the aea 50 Cal Bullpup..its nice.. shooting NSA 240...4500psi 14 shot total.
Hunting pressures 36003000psi
Freaking hilarious intro brother! Haha!
Is Texan LSS .50 even worth it? Seems limited ammo options...
Subbed just for the intro
Can you do a side by side with the SS
I would give certain body parts for that range!
LMFAO Ha Ha man Blast from the past Thats some funny shit man ... Thanks ! ! !
funny this is called the Airforce Texan, Bob Ross was in the Airforce for some time.
That's right!
Intro worth a sub
Just what i need for these pesky pigeons.
I agree
Your no John Burk but a great impression !! 👍
so do I paint with my spare time or shoot.... if you send me a Texan LSS I promise to shoot.
Up is preload for heavier pellets? Or not
I wish I bought that
I bought a hatsan blitz
Knowing very little
But I thought I was going to use a pump
Then after they sent it they said I need a paint ball gun store to get the first fill
To set seals ?
Probaly one of the best.
Definitely!
what is the effective long range of this airgun? 200 yards?
probably more, 400-500
Is like 600-1000
Texan should come out with a 20mm Texan lolol
How much is this gun in india and how can I buy it this hun plz tell me
Travis just not right!
I want one of these for Coyotes at 50 to 100 yards. Will the .357 be good for that? I'll be in a 3 story nest. Won't be running around.
it looks like the " suppressor" has a connected tip...about 2 -3 inch?...if so, why?
Thank you
This gun now will be so crazy 😜 with NITROGEN Lol
Magnifique armes un bijoux 👌👌👌👌👌👌
NSA 💯
That was good.
I love crazy people. Crazy loves crazy
They have a distributor in Houston Texas
They are based in Texas.
Airgun ok that means if they have store here in Houston Texas
Love it.

Super funny!
And the rifle comes with a trailer to haul it around?
How long can the gun be stored in the ready to fire position loaded ? Indefinitely?
I leave mine ready to rock

Can someone there tell me if its OK to use ballistil oil on the bolt probe o-ring on my pcps or should I stick to pure silicone oil ?
Ballistol could be combustible at those pressures, so we recommend silicone grease (not oil, which can also be combustible at high enough pressures).

600 ft lbs is just absurd for an airgun. Thats like one and a half 9MM luger shots. now thats a lot of damage.
Yep!
Love the intro you clown
