How have you lived so much life at your age? I am 57 and just going thru this shit for the first time. Except my version of the song would go “you were not my friend” instead of “you were not my first” and change “dear” to “here” - that would exactly reflect my last 18-yr relationship. When a singer/songwriter can accurately represent what someone my age is going thru, they can quit their day job. Well done, Isak. Rockstar status for you.

Greetings from another musiclover and singer/songwriter from (mostly) Gothenburg. I really love this song, along with Broken. They are helping me a lot where I'm at in my life right now. When I heard Broken I cried since it describes my emotions perfectly, and also because it's so beatiful. You definately got a new fan in me. I've listened to a lot of your music by now and love almost all of them. And those I don't love, I like. In other words, you are very talented in your songwriting, and singing of course. You are a freash air with original music about deeper messeges in the songlyrics than most songs about general heartache. You dig deep into emotion in a way that is really intriguing for me and obviously also for a lot of people. I can recognize myself in the depth when I was your age - the deeper maturity than most (I'm 32 now and not an "old lady", though I might sound like one sometimes). But make no mistake, I have still kept my flumsiness as a person who went through music high school. So I'm not a bore just because experiences has made me the way I am.
I hate this kind of feeling, i want to keep him to be my little secret, but i want the world listen to his masterpiece at the same time
