Thanks for this, I have 2 widi masters and I did not think I needed the widi bud pro until… you informed me that it could sync 4 devices! All the email ads I got from CME did not explain that point well enough. Thanks again
Ralis Kahn Hi, glad you found my video helpful 😀👍 With the latest firmware update, you can sync 4 Widi devices to a Widi Master too. Just for clarity though, I will point out, you can sync it with up to 4 CME Widi devices... I wasn't able to include the built in Bluetooth midi of my Ax Edge (so I plugged a Widi Master into my Ax Edge instead).
@@IbandUK currently we are working on an expansion of our firmware to allow Bluetooth MIDI devices such as your AX to be part of WIDI groups. It will also allow macOS. Unfortunately, iOS, Android and Windows switch their Bluetooth address every 15minutes for security reasons. Which makes it still a challenge to allow them to be part of WIDI groups.
Thank you for making these videos!!! I was on the fence about the Widi bud Pro as I have a Widi Master & Jack running with the software. But this is a much better solution!!!
Was there a previous version of Widi Bud before Widi Bud Pro? I was going to buy one on amazon but noticed it didn't say "Pro". Can't figure out if the "pro" is an updated version or if some sites just name the product differently
OaO Hi, yes, the Widi Bud was launched in 2016 and used Bluetooth 4. The Widi Bud Pro is new and has more advanced Midi technology and uses the more advanced Bluetooth 5. You can tell the difference because the old version has CME Widi Bud written on it and the new version has CME Widi Bud Pro written on it. There may be some places still selling the older Widi Bud but I would recommend buying from a source that clearly states Widi Bud Pro (or buy direct from CME).
dumitru jitaru Hi, I am working on a new video that will be uploaded soon that should help answer your question. I don't have a pa1000 and bt200s-6 so I can't say specifically for your setup.
Raimunda Nogueira Hi, from what I can see, both the xps 10 and the oxygen 25 only have usb-b type midi connectors so they will not work with the widi bud pro. To connect them you need a midi usb host. Midi usb hosts normally only connect usb to midi din and not usb to usb, however you could try my hack... ruclips.net/video/NuKnk3HaZFA/видео.html

@@CMEProcan I assume that if I have the Bud Pro connected to my iPad via USB hub, this limitation wouldn’t matter?

Can you make this connection with the Roland xps 10 and the M-audio oxygen 25 controller?, like the xps 10 timbres on the controller😐🎹
