They don't know the importance of all festival. Buring crackers are mentioned in our shastra and Holi books. It shows path to our pitra to go back who came on pitra paksh. Burning crackers control the insects.

Dogs are not scared of crackers, if yours are, that means your dogs are already in a scared state of mind! you need to give them treatment and training! Yes i have pets , who tried to play with burning crackers! And we had to control them! A pet trainer can help. About street Dogs, they are already in a scared state of mind if they are scared of crackers sound! because they are threatened somewhere somehow by humans in similar way everyday.

Hey, I totally relate you I have small pet (pomerian), Just because of fatakhe he has suffered a lot his 1st Diwali it is.
He was crying, running and more, we went to doctor and medicine and all. I just feel so sad for street dogs.
