I’ve been married for over 2 decades now, Half of that was on active duty. I always wanted to have a welcome home moment like this, with my wife of course but with our child/ children. It was almost a decade after I was medically retired that we finally had our first child. I don’t like being away from my wife or son, even just a day is too much. I wish he could see me in my prime and what his dad did… it feels hard to be his hero in the physical state that I’m in.
Thank you for your service. We’re sure you are a hero in his eyes since you are in ours!

Touches me the most are mothers soldiers' reunion with their children, mothers are quite different from fathers for having children, so the feeling is deeper.
Well you have to keep in mind that a mother wouldn't have any children if it wasn't for the person who got them pregnant and gave them children, so it's very important to also share the same amount of love and respect towards the father because having to choose between the father and a mother is like choosing which child is your favorite, because both parents mother and father should be loved and respected equally not more than for one over the other. And while I understand what you're saying but that doesn't have the fact that both the mother and the father should both be loved and respected equally the same
I agree with your comment. I looked at many of these videos and started to cry what I read. How many woman cheated on their husbands while he was away? When he comes home the atmosphere is not nice. Some woman say they were not sure if their husbands will come back. I don't except that as an excuse and have NO RESPECT for such woman.

They gave my mother some money because I no longer had a father to bring me food. I hope that your children will grow up with their fathers. I am deprived of seeing my father for the rest of my life. I cried a lot watching this video I am sad today 😢😢

Less than 5% of Canada is black, yet there is close to 50% of blacks in commercials. I don't see that as underrepresented for blacks. Orientals on the other hand are something like 18% of the population, and we rarely see them as 18% of the ppeoplein commercials and programs - they are definitely underrepresented. Same with aboriginals.
