Auto-Digitize a Photo and convert it into a Perfect Embroidery Design - Part 2

In this tutorial, we continue our journey with the fox design, delving deeper into the process of tracing and digitizing. We start by importing the same fox image used in our previous video and select the ‘Auto-digitize/convert to outlines’ option for image handling.
The tutorial guides you through the trace dialog, which assists in converting the imported image into a vector design. You’ll learn how to customize options such as scaling the image to fit a specific hoop size, adjusting the accuracy to capture the right amount of detail from the original artwork, and selecting the number of colors for your design.
We also discuss the importance of reviewing the artwork with the node editor and demonstrate how to refine areas for a cleaner design. Once the artwork is ready, we explore different stitch types, stitch flow techniques, and properties of fill and outline to enhance the design.
The video concludes with a demonstration of how to edit and fine-tune the shape you’ve created, using the fox’s tail as an example.
