They did a lot of youtube videos covering songs and Beyonce discovered them and signed them to her label. They have a more unconventional sound. Chloe is the older sister and she is a mezzo soprano I believe and Halle is the younger shorter sister and she is a soprano (higher lighter tone). They are also actresses. You should definitely react to there song Do It.

So, some fun facts: *It's pronounced Chloe and Halle (like Halle Berry). *They're sisters, two years apart in age (Halle is 20 & Chloe 22, I think). *They've been singing together their whole lives, but first got noticed widely for their RUclips covers of other people's songs (the first time i heard them it was a Whitney Houston cover, I think.
