I hear ya to a point…yeah it’s faster and cheaper(Mojave)…don’t know about stronger..?but for me personally I wanted something for indoor fun and as you can see the Mojave and the mini maxx are two different styles..depends what your doing..see how I can slowly pull up to the ramp and do backflips, even double backflips with the mini maxx..because it’s a monster truck doing monster truck things…the Mojave grom is not..so it depends mainly on what your doing with it..this was just me goofing off really
Oh no, it is for sure stronger. I’ve seen it get launched into curbs and poles with at most a broken arm. The Mini Maxx however, someone got into a crash at half the box stock speed and whole front end ripped off. It’s a big problem with the Mini Maxx.
@ well I haven’t broken either one of them so I can’t say…check out my round 2 video and go to 11:56 and see how I smacked that boulder head on and still drove away you can even hear the smack so yeah..everybody driving conditions are different but yeah guess I got lucky
I’d say the Mojave Grom, it’s faster and cheaper, stronger as well. Also it’s harder for water/snow, mud etc to get inside. Also cause the chassis is stronger, but the Mini Maxx has had people not even get into big wrecks and the whole front end snaps off. What a joke by Traxxas.
Super cool set up! How did you make those backflip ramps? Mini Maxx looks like a ton of fun
The two brown ones are boxes from mini maxx and a typhon grom, the black one is from a helicopter…just need a knife and some duct tape😊@bryce_149
@@Freakeye_RC oh man that's such a good idea! I'll have to make some now thank you :D
@@bryce_149 about to post the outside video..they both got down and dirty!
@@Freakeye_RC Sweet! I'll check it out
