Are we to firm up the hand / Grip pressure at all ? He’s hand appears to be in a firm position. Thanks in advance

Does this work for older adults?

I was told that the left foot is suppose to come infront of the right foot when doing this. His left foot went straight out infront.

Your one step back-swing is higher than mine. TTWhen I have a high back-swing position, I cannot control my bowl. Also, early turn and over swing occur..It makes me really up-set.I need your drill at home and at center. Thanks, Guys!Great videos help me.

This is the area I constantly worry about with my game. My transition from push off into my backswing and finish with good balance at the line is what kills me. It hardly ever feels right. I’m either finishing my slide with my weight off center to the left or behind the balls of my feet. I am a power player with high revs, and my release feels fine but my finish out of my backswing is what is pushing my shot out too far toward the channel and is making me miss. Any thoughts on balance at the line and ways to correct it?

Curtis, typically when off balance at the line it either indicates the ball dropping into the swing too quickly, or you could be moving your feet too fast. Have someone record you from the side and note where the ball is in the swing as you enter your slide step. If the ball is not near your ball side leg as you enter the slide you will likely have balance and targeting issues.
      Hope this helps!

Try this. Your first step, right foot, (if you do a 4 step approach), has to go forward-left into the center line of your body, this is key so the ball pendulum will pass closer to your leg and you will have a better balance at the foul line.. Try it.

Hugo Mora I was muscling my swing instead of letting it drop in and swing normally. Now, I’ve lowered my backswing and actually get more power since i can get under the ball a bit more. If I need speed now, I accelerate my feet instead of my arm. Very balanced at the line now and I post my shot pretty nicely.

That is not even close to a 45 degree angle. Maybe 30 at most.

@@jhonviel7381 i was calling it 60º but i think we're all in agreeance it's way closer to 30º off of one axis than 45º
