I think this tribute video is one of the few, maybe the only one you can find her singing this unbelievable performance in HD, too bad it's not in 4K, but 720P is better than 480P so Thank you for doing this, ( I think I have to hear this at least once a year now, just to stay sane these days)
If you truly believe that, go to one of her concerts. She is 10, 11 and 12 in most of these videos, I doubt you will see this level of talent at her age, in your lifetime. She simply stuns me in this video and proves what the words Super Star really mean.
Thank you so very much for sharing your talents Loretta, Jimmy and Jackie. I was totally captivated with this beautiful showcase video of our beloved Princess of Song. The sound of Jackie Evancho's voice enters our ears, becomes pure beauty, purely sublime and leaves through our eyes as tears of pure joy.
... In that moment, in that time, Miss Evancho held the world in the palm of her hand .. More beautiful in both voice and visage than even imagination allows ...
This is beautiful! Thank you, Loretta and Jimmy. It was especially nice to see the still photos displayed with the performance video...the slow-motion double wave, too! The lyrics were very nicely done, as well.
It is not so much of the talent of Jackie that impresses me which is stupendous so much as to the content of her character. Humble and unassuming. That alone sets her above the rest
A miniature Celine and rehearsed to the point of being an automaton? That's my girl!!!!! That is what professionals do. Same show, different night. Matreyia listen and watch the DVD in Blu-ray of Dream with Me in Concert. Just turning 11 years old with a vocal performance the quality of which we will not see again this lifetime.
I think the audience and Jackie wanted to prove a point; she was the best on AGT 2010 I also believe Matreyia that you will never see an 11 year old give a better performance of Nessun Dorma. Perfect pitch is a gift that no other young singer can develop, they either have it or they don't. Over many years of hard work and practice, a singer will develop perfect pitch - around age 30 I would think. That is why Jackie is a phenom. Check out Dream with Me In Concert DVD; it is a time warp.
To my mind, even though not the best pure vocal performance of Nessum Dorma she has made (she held the notes longer at BGT 2011 & overall was better at Houston) this performance at AGT 2011 is her pinnacle to date. Not just vocally, but even more, the energy and emotion she converyed especially on the 3rd & 4th "Vincero" were simply dazzling. The camera look at 2:16 will stop you from breathing. She gives of herself.so much that the maestro in heaven must be smiling when she sings this aria.
Part one is below. In answer to your question do your statements belittle Miss Evancho? No, everybody has the right to their opinion. With all young singers it is always guess work to see how good they become or if they get bored and leave the field. When Jackie and David got together and did DWMIC Jackie was 10 going on 11. I have never heard or seen any DVD that impressed me as much. Do I expect another 10 year old to be as good in my lifetime? Nope, its a one off Grammy special!
Streisand is a singer -actress; Celine is a chanteuse -somebody told Celine that the English don't talk with their hands - so she doesn't, which is quite funny because it is French nature to speak with hands, arms, body etc I love her even if all she did was stand on her head and spit nickels, great voice! You didn't listen to Jackie's DWMIC in Blu-ray with surround sound did you? Be honest! It may be at some point another 10 year old shows up and wows music fans around the world.
I just pray she doesn't go down the same road Charlotte Church did. There is something about the music business that seems to pull down young women's souls.
Beautiful voice. Performance is a bit practiced looking and lacks truth though. I been watching as many of these performances as possible and there are some who are much less "practiced" yet they move you to tears as you hear their voice and see their souls in their eyes while they sing their hearts out.
When the Angel sings it would seem all things come to a stop. The rabbits move in to listen, the doves land nearby, the deer stop feeding and the eagles perch on branches, all to catch a glimpse and hear from The Angel
This is beautiful, but I’ve been watching Pavarotti,Mario Lanza, and others with lyrics and this translation is very different than the others. Who is correct? p.s., I’m an old rocker, love 50’s,60’s,70’s rock,80’s synth pop, funk,punk,rub-a-dub style reggae, folk. Never liked opera. Saw YT vid of an old AGT or BGT with someone singing Nessun Dorma. Loved it. Found tons of n.d. vids and ate them up. Coincidentally, I suffer with insomnia ( no one sleeps,no one sleeps). Rock on
Ron, note that I refer to her physical motions when I say performance. Her voice is flawless, her performance needs to loosen and look more natural. As she is in this video, she looks like a miniature Celine Dion - wooden and robotically rehearsed physically. Your references to perfect pitch is irrelevant since this is not the issue I take with the physical performance.
What does it mean? It means she looks like a miniature Celine Dion while singing this song. Her voice is flawless, but her physical performance looks rigid and forced....just like Celine Dion. It is quite unnatural. I think when she gets older and more relaxed, she will agree with my observations. Truth refers to letting the music take over the body during performance and letting it guide, not suppressing the motions with rehearsed motions. Hope this helps.
Il faut rajouter que Nessun Dorma (dans Turandot, de Puccini) est interprété par un personnage MASCULIN et non par une voix de femme .... In Turandot it's a man and not a woman !!!!!!!!!
Ron, you should watch Celine Dion perform with Streisand...neither of which I am a fan off...you will see more natural motions with Streisand as well as vocals than Celine's technical perfection..yet both are professional. You like Evancho, she's a great singer...but I doubt that she will be one of a kind and there will eventually be other 11 year olds that will match or best her. Never say never. So do you take my opinions as an attempt to belittle the talent of Evancho?
@@ikjaufanyau Imagine the size of her lungs and vocal cords compared to adult male singers. I don’t think power and high notes are the only standard to achieve. She sang Nessus Dorma in her own style with mesmerizing mezzo soprano tone.
I agree, and Placido Domingo, Jose Carrerras, Dimitri Hvorostovsky, SumiJo, Vittorio Grigolo, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Barbra Streisand, and Tony Bennett, all of whom chose to perform/record with her also lack substance.

Laura sang Nessun Dorma on AGT at age 14 and finally placed 6th. Jackie was 10 when she was runner up on AGT and then invited to return at age 11 as guest performer singing Nessun Dorma for this finale episode. You say "nothing compared..." I'd say that's a reasonable comparison. Anything else is just opinion.
We like Laura and so does Jackie so try and recruit new fans for her by not pissing people off, right? Don't you think this kind of childishness embarrasses Laura?
one of the worse performances of this song. her voice is not powerful and I completely dislike her pronunciation of the r... it's not a Spanish like r...it doesn't need to be rolled as hard as she did every time...overrated performer IMHO.

Oh yes, Loretta, fantastic work! Please make some more of these with Jackie as the focus. Thank you so much.
I want to see her back on AMGT! She needs to come back and show them how it's done!!!!!
Such a great person, such a great talent.
This song is amazing and she is amazing! She has a great talent :)
Yes I think so too. It’s a synergy of the magnifient song and her amazing voice and supreme talent = DEVINE

The ones whose emotions simply overwhelm them.
Nessun Dorma was written for a male voice. But since Jackie has sung it, it suited only to her voice now!
Wow wow wow wow can you say wow? Amazing, beautiful, incredible, awesome, magnificant. I can't say enough about how wonderful she is haha :D

"Performance is a bit practiced looking and lacks truth though." What the heck does that mean?
How in GODS name did this get 22 down votes.
Inbred fans of other singers.
Would you please enlighten me with your comment?
OMG that audience was annoying
Yeah, they know how to ruin an otherwise stunning performance.

Ok a beautiful voice BUT always in the same low tone, Nessun Dorma needs more power, more high note .
Yes, but she is too young for that, her body needs time to develope the capacity

wtf audience ruins a large bit SO RUDE !!!!!

That's it ...... Don't encourage young talent . Squelch it . Your comment shows your lack of substance . Don't hate children , Nurture them .

@@tunanorth I wonder how they were singing at ten.
What sort of ignorant mob shouts and cheers DURING a performance?
Come rovinare un capolavoro.......
When I think of opera I think of a powerful voice and a struggle to hit the notes but this was not that. I don't like this performance
Nicholas West you’re deaf why should anyone who has real talent struggle to hit the high notes.
