First of all much love for your words about me and my vocals ! Thank you ! I glad you noticed that. Second. I very glad you love our new song as a metal hard and EXPLAINS why !! Love you man
The man, the myth, the legend, Alex Terrible himself! ❤
Хэллоу, ёпта. Найс сонг!
Всегда приятно видеть твои комменты под реакциями. Так высоко поднялся, но все равно следишь за аудиторией. Ты лучший!
Alex, you are one of the most gifted artists I have ever discovered. Keep up the great work, this is your time. I heard you just moved to my town, hope to run into you one day!
Thank you for making such amazing songs, Alex. We love you!!
Alex continues his slow transformation into a Bear. His gutturals are simply not human. Killer fucking song
Listen to a Grizzly bear growls and Alex's growls back to back. You will be not that impressed by the bear.
@@victoriamartines5030 Actually not even joking, Alex growls are deeper
Eventually he will be mentioned by Joe Rogan lol
Ye he a gator not a bear l. Hehe
@@fishinarkansas3348 He's a Bear-Gator . . . . . . . . . .🤣🤣🤣
I love it when Alex sings in his native tongue of Infernal
Lol ahah
Dude is trilingual
Russian
English
Ancient tormented Demon
He is fluent in demon
The algorithmic structure of the STP songs is interesting, yes, it is complicated, especially for the Russian ear, but for the English-speaking listener it even comes in very well. Their bright song is "You only", for some reason it is not performed at concerts. It is fucking awesome.
KTBFFH
The thing I love most about Alex is that as intimidating and jacked as he is, he's an absolute sweetheart. Love the guy.
That video of him checking on a girl hurt in the circle pit was so mf sweet
He's such a cool dude. I love watching him interact with fans. seems that people ages 8 to 50+ years of age are fans of Slaughter. rightfully so. Alex is a great guy from what I can tell
The chorus is probably my fav from them, it's so good.
Same here. It's HUGE.
This is wonderful!
Absolutely! Especially the mixture of different vocals in the "I am from the same flesh" hits so freaking hard!
It kinda speaks to me as well, yk? To me, Alex is saying no matter how vocally animalistic he is, he is still a human being at the end of the day. And that chorus pretty much explains it. Fucking deep shit man
The chorus goes so hard
I think this is their best song. With how great this and 1984 both were, I can't wait to hear the next album
1984, my fav song by them up until they dropped Viking, will actually not be on the album at all lmao. Nuts
Yeah, I'm really loving the more groove and slamming parts they're coming up with in their new stuff and I hope they keep going in that direction.
I took my 5 year old son to see Slaughter to Prevail on Nov. 2 and it was fucking insane. It was my sons first live show. He is hooked on Alex’s voice. Alex is like a hero to my son. I even got him passes to meet the band. I had tears in my eyes watching my boy rock the fuck out that night. Such a proud hardcore dad moment. Definitely one of my favorite bands to blow up in a long time. My son was mind blown watching the pit. As we left the show he looked up at me thanking me for taking him and he was asking when we could see them agin
Proud dad moment 😂
Please make sure he wears earplugs!!! I wish I did that, now I have tinnitus after the dozens of metal shows I've been to
This sounds massive. Fantastically brutal.
Literally. One word. Fuck. This song absolutely beats the shit out of you, and I fucking love it. That breakdown is stupid.
The part that gets me every time is at 04:11. INSANE.
@@TankTheTech I don't understand how he does some of this shit. This song knows how heavy it is. It doesn't care.
@@TankTheTechin the comments for the music video, I saw a couple people suggest he learned that gutteral trill from alligators in Florida 😂
They are just a different breed, man. Slaughter has such a brutal sound. Like, Lorna Shore is also brutal, but they incorporate so much orchestra and melodic stuff into their songs that it doesn't feel the same. These two bands are at the top of the scene, but both bring a unique style within the genre that is all their own.
This might be the most guitar-driven track by them to date, at least from what I've heard, usually all of my attention is occupied by Alex monstrous singing and Jenya's pounding drums, but here the entire track feels much more cohesive and evenly spread out, I can't get enough of it. I'm very happy that these guys are doing well.
Edit: I also got a bit emotional on the first listen, most of them are my fellow countrymen and the anger Alex exudes is palpable.
Evgeny is such a monster on the kit, I love him
@@xfrostyresonance8614 The dude is one of my favourite drummers, he's a beast and a half.
Every time I listen to StP, I'm feeling happy and so pumped that wrestling a bear would be only a warm up for me.
Viking is the next natural step in their evolution as musicians. All I can hope is for StP to remain as genuine and humble as they are now and not succumb to the mainstream celeb behavior. I'm certain their down to earth, Russian chads demeanor is what the fans love the most. Their talent and raw energy are only the icing on the cake.
Awesome reaction, Tank. Cheers!
They found what Slipknot lost somewhere. So many nice sounds. Sick drums with the little cymbals.
I was close to them, but with this song - consider me hooked.
Couldn't agree more
True,Slipknot lost them selves after Iowa and i stopped listen to them completely.
Absolutely has Iowa vibes.
Guys guys...Corey is 50 years old...Alex is 30...idk why people just do not consider age as a factor. When i was 18 i did a lot of crazy shits, energy, different mindset, different life style...now im 40 😂 my last concert my legs and my neck hurts so bad i goes straight to the bed sleeping for 12+ hours. And there was a time when i goes from metal party to rave party tk metal party without sleep for days...Old dudes matter 😂
@@Stoyan1985well said bro
I can't believe how fucking heavy that riff is.
I hope none of the members ever leave the band. I feel like all of them are cruical
What strikes me the most is as much as their music is in your face is how they respond to the fans . No agression just the gentle giant as it should be. That is how it should be always. That is probably what i like about them far more than anything else.
They seem to be really great people in general.
I prefer the term “Gentle juggernaut” lol
10:07 This is morning fuel for me than a standard cup of coffee. The F**ING chorus is my favorite of theirs
As a nurse, I love your heart rate being shown. You can tell you’re a nervous speaker, but you also prove that music like this, even at this pace, can have a calming effect on the human body.
I've noticed that with several Reactions. The Heavy Metal starts and their heart rate slows down.
This band never disappoints, really never.
And I must say that I was impatiently awaiting your reaction ! So thank you for this video !!
Slaughter is like it you gave Iowa era Slipknot steroids and meth.
Evgeny is one of the most musical metal drummers I have had the pleasure of listening to. Love their music.
100% agree with that comparison.
I mean. Some of the slipknot guys were on meth during Iowa lol
I saw them live in April in Florida. As someone who has seen many a metal concert. Theirs was by far and away the most energetic and best concert I’ve ever been to. When I saw them, there was no opening act. It was just them, for 3 hours straight. Belting out all of their songs including this one. I drove 10 hours to see them and it was all well worth it
3 hours! Goddamn!
Классная реакция!привет из Москвы!
Здаров из Крыма)))
This band is something different than other deathcore bands..and thats why they are the best right now..
Discovered Alex pretty long ago actually (~10y ago), seen him posting covers on RUclips, and I was already really impressed by his talent, and told myself "I cannot wait to see him acquire some experience & go pro, it would be nuts" until he went a bit under my radar.
Well, now that I rediscover him, for once, I wasn't wrong: this is nuts.
This song has such a catchy groove while being brutally heavy at the same time. I love how they sprinkled in the fan interaction clips too. You're right about Alex's projection being wild also. At the St Louis show he apologized for being sick and losing his voice, then proceeded to scream the part from this song and Demolisher without the mic.
I think that since Lorna shore album came out the raisedd the bar HIGH so I think we're gonna see allot of vocalist pushing the line of what we are used to.
I took my 15yr old son to see them for his very first concert. I've seen a lot of shows and this was by far the best show I've ever seen. Small venue so we were almost right up front. I will see them every single time they come to Dallas. The last 2 releases I think have been some of their best work. Today's word of the day F#!k lol. Sometimes, it's all that needs to be said.
Все твои реакции, искренние и ненаигранные! Очень много внимания уделяешь важным и интересным моментам! Так держать!🤘
Just straight chills everytime that breakdown kicks in. Alex is an absolute beast!
It's pure joy, both listening to this song, watching the music video, and watching your reaction. It's just like unboxing Christmas presents ten minutes straight, pure joy and big happy surprises. Amazing!
Ever since I heard this I’ve been blasting this song as much as I can. It’s honestly one of the most, aggressive, animal, beautiful song I’ve heard in a long time
This song was so good live, saw them In Jacksonville but now having an official release it feels brand new, so we’ll fleshed out
I can't tell you how many times I've been looked at weird or questioned for getting teary eyed during songs, especially ones that aren't sad. It's really validating to see someone else get these types of emotions while listening to really fucking good music. Much love Tank.
I absolutely love this song its a power up song in the morning and banger all day ❤😊 also love the smile you have while listening
At this point every time I hear a new song, i'm always waiting to see your commentary afterwards
Love your videos and your insights!
Been waiting for this reaction, thank god that you did this. Such a good song, and for me atleast, the best song by them.
I absolutely love that you put words on the screen about the song and the band during the video. Unique idea for reactions. I think
Been waiting for your reaction on this one. You truly are one of the most genuine reactors out there. This might be my favourite STP song so far …
Tank listening to Slaughter To Prevail - steady 80 bpm.
Tank realising he has no hair - instant 120 bpm.
This is definitely my favourite song by them now. This is definitely my favourite breakdown now ever. Brilliant reaction bro ❤️❤️🔥🔥
I watched Nik's reaction first and was so hype to see you did a video too. It's so fun to watch people appreciate things you appreciate lol. Also I'm always glad to see that I'm not the only one who tears up at music that hits you in a way that's hard to explain.
I hope to see the band live some day. They bring so much energy on stage it seems. Love it!
Wow. Out of all the reaction videos, yours was the only one i found interesting to watch and listen. I'm glad that you saw them live and you were blown away. Hopefully I get to see them someday too :)
I saw them live earlier this week. It was insane. Also love the PMA attitude Alex is projecting. They bring brutal music, with blood stained guitars, yet the message is: make this world a better place and start with yourself. Just love them, man.
Tank, much love man! You're so genuine and I can always see how much you enjoy music, in your eyes. You light up! 😄🍻 Always a pleasure to watch your reactions bro. All the very best!
When I first started listening to Alex 3 years ago I was blown away and now I just want More and More. This is so over the top love it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The reaction to your phantom hair put a big smile on my face. Also, your reaction to the whole thing also put a big smile on my face.
Great reaction! Honest, wise opinion. For the first time I see "interesting facts" in such videos.
Saw them live in toronto early last month. Craziest live experience for me - the crowd, the energy, the no mic moments. When Nik came on, his voice was barely audible and he also later explained in a video how Alex is so loud so his mic is tuned lower lol.
Also saw them live on Nik's stream and a couple things Alex mentioned -
1984 would be a standalone song, won't be on the new album
For the sound, he said they just wanted to sound like Slipknot on steroids for this song and some of the other music on the new album
This song has been in tank for over half a year now, so yeah we can expect the album in the first quarter of 2024
Slaughter to prevail became one of my favorites thanks to this channel. Again I have to say, the way you present songs and bands are great. Like "Take a minute, give it some extra attention and then lets talk about what we just enjoyed and THEN! make your opinion on the song and band". And as you said once, sometimes it takes some time to find in to a band. Like with Sabaton, they are around in my life thanks to my friends since 13 years but I first started to listen to them since I follow your channel. But like you said over Babymetal, sometimes it needs some time until its enjoyable. So, thanks for your work/service and to this song: something with death and destruction ... YEAAAAAAAAH!!!
Man I was looking at EVERY reaction video I mean *EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.* for a hard headbang and scrunch face for the "So my tounge became *IRON* " part for AGES, and only saw yours. Fuck me, that part is worth more than the breakdown imo. It's so well placed, Alex catches and smashes you like Hulk and Loki scene where he picks him up and smacks him into the ground. Sub earned man you are a true metallurgist at heart!
Great fkn reaction Tank! I thought I was the only one that teared up when a song hits that certain nerve. Lol. Cheers from Tx! Happy New Year brutha!
Saw them in ATL a couple weeks ago. Absolutely kickass show! Loved every second! This song absolutely rips live! It's so good!
amazing reaction! bring reactions back again :) miss the reactions man. keep it up🤙🏽
Man your beard is GLORIOUS
I couldn't avert my eyes from it
Thanks for the reaction! No matter how much hair u have on ur head, u always can dhske it
You trully have my respect, i love your way of thinking And expression
best music-channel on youtube. Thanks for all your amazing videos Tank, especially the recommendation of ORBIT Culture has pleased me very much, my favorite new discovery this year.
First off- I just shaved my beard off after two years, Ive been bald for years but I sort of understand the shock that comes with no longer having it to mess with. Second- and most importantly; thank you for showing the sort of vulnerability and love you have for music. I tear up watching the video still after several watches.😅 Music is such an incredible escape for so many people, and I feel like a lot of us feel alone when we have to go there to get away, but for a minute there, I was there with you enjoying this, and thats the best I've felt in a long time. Thanks for the great videos.
Jesus wept that is a good song. Man. Im generally not a deathcore guy but knew of STP, mainly due to Alex' insane vocals, but only just started to listen to them properly and wow, they are absolutely fantastic. Much respect to them and well done on another anwesome reaction video. Dude.
Finally got your reaction. Wait for so long) Nice reaction
Viking and slaughter to prevail have been blowing up and ever since they came to albany NY i feel. Alot of people were mad that they couldnt see it here. Im glad and happy for my first concert to be them. Alex is the bear that will live on forever!
I can completely understand your feelings on this one Tank, it's an incredible song, and every time the music quiets down and Alex's vocals go over the top, I get such intense chills the hairs on my arms and neck stand straight up. I mean EVERY time, I've played this video multiple times a day every day since it's release, and still get that extreme of a reaction, I absolutely love it.
Also, the hair thing will take a long time to get used to, I had hair down to my lower back for 10+ years, and 3 years ago finally got sick of it and cut it off, I still get the "phantom limb" reaction on occasion.
Your love and passion for metal music is amazing man.
I'm so glad these dudes are living in America! Welcome and I you have everything you ever wanted here in America!
У Саши здесь дом, семья, родные. Как только с войной всё станет понятно - он и вся группа будет здесь, а не в "стране мечты", поверь. 😂
This is why I love you tank. As a musician, music is a part of you. It moves you. It speaks to your soul. I understand you and this is the exact reason I keep coming back here for more
Very professional! Good job Tank! Much love from Bulgaria!!!
I think the biggest thing, well besides alex's vocal prowess and the sheer skill of the band as a whole, is how fucking awesome it is to see artists in their element, and their interactions with fans. Makes me proud to be a metal head.
thanks for that review, mate! all that hints kinda 'fun fact' are really interesting
SO looking forward to getting Slaugter to Ireland to see them Live, Please come to Ireland
Tank! Bro! Listen, ive watched probably almost every other reaction to this song so far and i promise yours was the only one that mattered lol. Rock on brother!😊
Since high school, I honestly wrote most metal off thinking it was done but bands like slaughter, lorna, jinjer etc has reignited my love for the artform
When the chorus kicks in, gives me the fucken feels every goddam time! Best metal song of 2023 hands down.
What I love about this song and a lot of current metal is that it’s 1) brutal but somehow still full of catchy melody. And 2) has a groove pocket. Reminds me of early nu metal and how they just had that hip hop groove pocket alongside the heavier music. Not calling this nu metal, don’t get me wrong haha. This just has a groove and melody to it despite literally no cleans.
There are clean vocals in there but they are done in a very understated and tasteful way. Yes, I absolutely said that about a Slaughter to Prevail vocal part. He posted a one take of the vocal today and you can hear the clean parts especially in the chorus section. Its not really straight clean vocals but more the harsh vocal with little clean flourishes peppered in on certain syllables and words. It's really interesting and does a LOT for the song
Yeah man this song is just brutal, well written, well mixed, well put together and just beautiful all around for all the reasons i said. Alex is just an absolute beast vocally, and the drummer and guitarists are brilliant! STP is one of the best bands going today, AMAZING!!
I'm so glad that i'm not alone to have exitation tears when i listen a song i truly love !!!
S.T.P never disappoints....They always blow it out of the water. I really want to see them live 😢 but here is South Africa 😐 we don't have a lot of metal fans. But will still hope for the tour 🤲🏻 that passes through here.
Too Tank......My man 😂 your energy is just super awesome. I always smile like a weirdo and head bang with you 😂 The best Metal reactor hands down 🎉
Having seen them on one of their early US tours in like 2018, and having briefly met Alex, it makes me so happy to see them get this attention. Absolutely deserved. Alex is a monster on stage, and the kindest guy off stage. They had a fill-in guitarist at this point of the tour, and he said all Alex does is sleep and eat McDonald’s on tour 😂
If they tour the UK I'd be there for sure
Everytime I hear a song of theirs it blows me away they out do themselves everytime, viking is a absolute banger of a song and would love to see it performed live
Been waiting for this video ever since the song came out
It’s so nuts to think that Demolisher came out 3 years ago. I remember all the buzz around it then like it was yesterday. And there are still new reactions to it! Signs of an awesome song and the start of my extreme metal journey.
This track is insane on all levels! I truly believe that Alex found a new pit of HELL!! Great stuff!🤘
man i love slaughter to prevail so much i can't even explain how much i love those dudes
I feel like theres nothing more euphoric then listening to a new heavy ass track and seeing other peoples faces and reactions when it gets brutal or melodic just adds to the pleasure
Holy fuckin SHIT!!! That song is absolutely insane!!! Wowwwww. I've had it on repeat about a dozen times in a row now. Just AWESOME
The forklift i drive at work has a stereo system that i turn up while I'm loading trucks. And these guys are spectacular!
With love from mother Russia! Алекс, большое спасибо за творчество!
Great reaction! Thank you.
I love your channel Tank, badass content always and I really appreciate you keep it heavy for us that love it that way for life. My face melted off in the Chorus and my heart stopped, thankfully I got a jumpstart to get me going again to comment on this fire. Holy fuck StP is exactly how heavy it should be. It's all perfectly crushing and life changing.
It was great meeting you at that show in nashville tank, Stand up guy and thanks for the pic. I agree with the whole video, Alex and the whole band for that fact are insane musicians and it was one of if not the best show I've been to.
You as well! And yeah, I agree. One of my favorite shows I've ever been to.
I love how your eyes get watery when you see something you fucking love. Feeling that bro 🤘
One of the best reactions ever mate ❤
Got to experience this from the side of the stage when FIR canceled a date and the venue i work for picked up it up. The guys were super cool and leveled the crowd. Can't wait to see how big they get.
Seeing Alex in live videos, and seeing his posts on different reaction videos, it is clear to me... He is a freaking beast with the voice of a demon, but he is more human than most "stars" from the music industry.
I saw a live video, where a fan went down in the pit, he stopped the music to make sure she was okay, and even jumped down to hug her, after she got up. I don't know him at all, but I think he is a really nice person.
And yeah the song is absolute killer! 🤘
Always enjoy your reaction videos.
They're next level man! I'm absolutely hooked on Kostolom. Awesome reaction vid mate! Peace!!!!
My introduction to Slaughter to Prevail was Demolisher on your channel @TankTheTech, You have such an amazing reaction and appreciation to music and it's amazing to see!
Tank...that's empathy! Rollin tears...you truly enoy the music. Keep it up!
@TankTheTech Dude! That was insane! Love the bpm count and Tank facts you added. It was awesome to see you loving it so much. As always Cheers from Detroit!
Awesome reaction dude. Killer band and song.
Saw these guys at the inkcarceration festival they were fcking sick.
Could definetly see them being on the mainstage for big metal festivals in the future.
They had a huge crowd on the side stage.
