If the Commanders draft Daniels or Maye, no surprise, if they trade out of 2, I would be surprised. If the Commanders draft JJ McCarthy at 2, my jaw would drop and I would fall to the floor! 😮
Daniels is to skinny, and will get squished, and Maye is not more talented than JJ. Jj has a stronger arm, and is both more mobile, and athletic.
Washington commanders will trade out of the 2nd pick and gather more early picks. It's a strategy.
Every time they meet with a player or even mention them, the media will rush to the internet to release another story or video like this to pretend it means something. Daniels' pro day is tomorrow, watch as the stories come out that they are definitely taking Daniels after that pro day. Then a day later is Maye's pro day and a new video will come out the next day claiming he's definitely the pick.

The Giants are hot to take JJ at #6, or whatever it is. If they want JJ they CANNOT afford to trade down.
WTH is going on around here. I'm 45, and have never seen an off season like this. These guys keep delivering and the organization is acting like a top 5 franchise. I must be dreaming. All we know is Vinny, Brusey, poo poo snydie, Shanny dream team and Riveria. But I have the picture stuck in my head of rg3's leg getting whipped around Nata 350lb body. I have PTSD, and I worry that if we draft Daniels, the guy's playing style will absolutely 100%, get him destroyed in the NFL.. the players are bigger, stronger, faster, and are coming with bad intentions. I remember Gibby talk about defenses trying to kill him on the field (not literal). If I drafted Daniels, his a** is sitting until he re wires his brain, which will take at least a year. He's worse than Rg3. The problem with super fast qb's is when they get moving, and build up speed, it's almost impossible to throttle that down. The NFL linebackers will toss him around like a rag doll 10 yards down the field. Maye is too raw and you don't draft a QB 2nd overall that is as raw as him, he's a project which means he's a true 2nd or 3rd talent. J.J. is interesting being that he was coached by Harbaugh. Has NFL ability, seems to be more mechanically sound but his base is too wide for me and there's not enough tape on him to really know what he is, but the dude just wins. Personally, I'm drafting either Nix, JJ, or preferably Daniel's with the coveat of him sitting until he learns how to control his speed. When he gets out in open field, it's like watching a Tesla on the highway, blowing past everyone.

Just little old dumb me. I do not think Caleb to Chicago is happening. Us signing another Center means less draft need.... More room to trade picks because we get more roster filler. Trading Sam when we didnt have to for higher picks... Trade fodder. Caleb to DC is not off the table
Why would Chicago not take the consensus best QB in the draft when they just cleared out the QB spot? There is no chance they are passing on him for someone else, none.

The hip drop rule is crap. Proper tackling is wrapping up around the waste and legs. Sounds like they would rather defenders go upper body and get trucked or dragged, or the crap that corners do, just throw yourself at their legs. It's not easy to get down a guy of certain size going at a certain speed.
No one in the organization, who has any idea what they want to do in the draft, is talking to anyone about it. Period. Everything you hear is total BS.

If you are going to draft JJ because of a throwing session on air we as commanders fan are in for many years of poverty. Not a soul during the college season and after said JJ is worthy of a 2nd overall pick. We are screwed. Who cares what the league thinks they can be fluffing so daniels and drake drops to them .
