So happy the cold intro went well. I believe age and personalities play a huge part in glider intros. Every intro will be different for sure. I honestly think that noise is a communication noise. I also wonder if the type of glider determines that noise? I have two sets of twins (girls), the standard grey set never made that noise, the mosaic ones make that noise at least once in the pouch during the day ( I think they are dreaming) and when I give them treats, its as if they are telling the others something or just really excited about treats ? It definitely isn't aggressive during either time. Can't wait for more "Bruce Diaries" . Have a warm and suggie snuggle weekend 🤗 💓🐾
Our boy pickles does the same noise 😂 he does it randomly in his pouch or when he’s playing he was our first glider and I had literally thought he was broken lmfao
Our Dumpling does something very similar, it seems like a cross between a hiss and a crab lol. He usually does it when he's wrestling with his brother, our boys play wrestle constantly at night lol. Real gentle and friendly though! -Zania
Im new to raising sugar gliders. Ive been binge watching your videos. Thanks for the info! Im excited and i hope to do well with my boys (Starsky and Hutch)
My two boys do that! Usually in their pouch together so I always thought it was them “barking” at each other about something. Doesn’t last long like normal barking. More of a move over type noise.
That sound its kind of a call, he's lonely. I've had a few do that, usually when they are calling for me to pay attention to them. I have one right now that does it. But I get him out and he starts rubbing all over and snuggling. I consider it them crying for you. Its pretty cute.
I sure hope my introductions go as well as yours. I adopted 2 male baby gliders from a breeder. I should be getting them in the beginning of February 2022. I have 2 other male gliders. They were introduced the end of June 2021. They get along great. I hope the 4 of them will live together as one happy colony. Thanks for all your great videos. I’ve learned so much about sugar gliders from you.
Bruce is such a big boy. I think his larger size is helping out with successful intros. I am so happy for you that this is going so well. Bruce will hopefully settle down now that he has some friends. My three girls will mark each other, its so cute.
So cute! I have 4 gliders a dad, a mom, and twins. I hope to introduce new gliders in the next year or so and this, plus your past introduction videos have helped so much! Thank you for your channel. :)
I'm so glad everything went well! It's funny how introducing them to other gliders brings out different personality traits. I just wanna throw out there, if anything ever changes and they suddenly stopped getting along, I will be more than happy to go there and pick up Bruce for you 😉
Sooo nice they got along like that - only one of mine was nice to my new girl! Like I said the other day it took 6 months for Daisy!! Thought it would never happen! ❤️ But it did and I am soooo glad now!
My friend said that noise is typically crying or missing his family. Which broke my heart. Just had my first ever sugar glider for a week.. a baby of 6 weeks. Sometimes she made that sounds. She is still not deciding whether to be petrified or tolerate me yet. Tried to escape everytime I tried to hold her. Shaking really hard.
@@sugargliderdiaries Wow, I didn't know that. Most pet shops in my country usually start to sell them 6 to 8 weeks old. They say it is easier for them to bond with human when they are younger.
So glad that you were able to get your heat up and running quickly! What a relief to see such positive behaviors. It looks like they were all really receptive towards Bruce. I found it interesting how reserved and cautious Balcy was during the initial intro in the bathtub. This has not been my experience with my current trio. I introduced a neutered male to my neutered male and female seven months ago. My original male continues to assert his dominance over my new male. They aren't fighting, but there's a lot of pinning the other down and mild crabbing. I'm not sure if it's maybe because there are two males and this just isn't suiting my original male, or just that there's one more personality in the mix. I finally decided that I would add another female in hopes that evening the sexes out may help. You're progress looks very encouraging though. I'm very happy for you Kimberley!
@@sugargliderdiaries wow, that's interesting. I honestly didn't think that would be an issue. In my case with the adults it has been. I'll let you know if things settle down when my female joey has grown enough to join the others. Hope you have a great day Kimberley!
Mine keep wanting to sleep super early and not up at 8am when I get my son up for school Any way to get him more on my schedule for bonding? Also I have him in my hood or bonding bag most of the day
My glider makes that hissy/bark noise all the time! She barely actually barks and only does this sound while playing
My boys make that sound as well. Usually when in a pouch together, I thought they were annoyed with eachother or something haaha
same here
One of my gliders makes the same funny sound. I call it “Honking”.
my 2 boys do this all the time. i thought they was arguing. maybe its a happy noise
It’s the sound they make when calling their mom. Like “Look at me, mom!”

Mine do that. I always thought it was an "I'm in pain or scared" sound but could be wrong! I love these updates by the way!
I’m so glad introductions went well! Your cage is beautiful by the way! Those backpack pouches are super cute too!
Thank you ☺️
My Bruce and Todd make those noises too lol. They do it at each other and in their sleep. It sugar glider introduction was so cute! ☺☺

You can do it!
Lol got crabbed at last night by my sweetest girl when she was in her pouch lol think I spooked her - very rarely she crabs.

How cute! 🥰 one of my gliders still hasn’t figured out her wheel yet 😅 I hope she does soon.

Awww I’m so glad they all got along!!! Bruce fits right in.. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 can’t wait for the next video
My boys do this too. It's there way of vocal claiming there happens over what there doing. Kinda like a hiss and squeal of lafter
My boys do this every night
He is calling for his mama

Oh no! 6 weeks out of pouch is way too young to be away from parents. Hopefully the little one will warm up to you soon!

@@kangyeog unfortunately that is a myth. 8 weeks it the earliest. Just be patient with your baby as it is very scared.
@@sugargliderdiaries thank you. Your videos really helpful. I wrapped her in her nappies and let her sleep and purred for half an hour. It was nice!
Congrats on a successful intro!! 🥰
Mine did the same thing then exactly one month later she started doing it again. Those exact same sounds 😶😶🤥🤫🤫🤫🤥🤥🤥🤧😵💫😵💫
I hear my gliders do that to
I have sugar glider that makes the sound to.

I came to see sugar gliders, Lady. I don't care about your face or what kind of coffee you drink.
