Superb, and leading off with the trucks that TIED. . .on BOTH runs, are you kidding me?? Wow! [edit: OK, not a tie exactly but going to the ten-thousandths place in time. still very close] Swimming is good for fish, not for blue Volvo drag racing--hilarious notes throughout the show, Tomi! Also, thanks so very much for the data at the show's end!! Burying this below the space cutoff, is anyone else seeing the trophy graphic before the finals wearing a bikini top? Maybe just me. 🤣
Interesting time comparison! Thank you for doing that. The runs had some variation to them which is what I would expect. These newer cars are tougher to predict.
Yes, it tracks with what others have shown me. Middling cars improve to a greater percentage compared to naturally good runners. The one that got slower, a statistical outlier?
@@Chris_Hood I have found that when a car slows down after we'll work..... When using graphite, it is usually because there is some oil substance from the factory on the axles.
@@ElevationDiecastRacing oil on the axles from the factory? Surprising that Mattel might take that extra step in manufacturing but in the end I'm not equipped to debate that
@@Chris_Hood personally I feel that modern blackwall, ones you can find on certain metal/metal series cars like Heritage Redline, Flying Customs (Arrow Funny car) etc is one of the best wheels out there.
@@DiecastShowCustoms yup. Originally I had 38in hill, from there I went to 33in and finally settled for 35in. I can still set hill for 33in if I need to test cars for ElevationDCR for example. And there's third position to use for switchback.
@@Chris_Hood In one version I had bit shorter transition, it gave nice "slingshot" effect for some cars but ones with suspension like MB lasers and such suffered somewhat. So I changed it to smooth version.
Super cool. 🤩😎🍺

Checkered flag bikini, mayyybe 😁
I can‘t unsee that anymore now 👙 lol
@@Bavarian_Diecast_Racing thanks for reading past the comment break!!
I still dig the Audi. What a beauty.
Race On Tomi⚡️⚡️⚡️
It's good looking ride. Who knows, maybe there's little more to squeeze out 🤔

Yeah, only Evo seemed to be consistent to some degree. It might be rank material.
Great racing Tomi!
Most enlightening. Thanks Tomi.
Man that was some great racing 😅
I love close racing... so the two trucks set the stage first race.
bouncy blue lol
The results are interesting. From the blister to the speed shop.

Some close times between cars but in the end, there can be only one 🏁🏆
Evo doing Evo things…
The Delorean picked up big time after some work. Too bad they are so damn light.
Delorean really put down impressive time for what it is, too bad it was just that singular run. Evo probably gets in case under 39.99g
I feel like mostly the 10 spoke wheels respond well to graphite, just my thoughts btw, please correct me 👍🏻
In this case all except grey Alfa did better, 10 spoke is pretty good wheel tho.
Talking my language! I'm fascinated with the idea that one wheel type may have an advantage over others in racing!!

@@NorthernRoadsRacingImho especially the chase wheels. Don’t ask me why tho …
@@NorthernRoadsRacing yes, i agreed that modern bw does perform well, mostly those wheel rolls smooth
nice. what’s the height on the drop?
35 inches
@@NorthernRoadsRacingthank you. that explains why they are going so fast 👍🏽

No "Whump" transition in this track, SO GOOD! I think even the recent Cadillac GTP Hypercar could run here. Not win, but run
