It's definitely 1500 points. Our group always hits the 1500 by the second day, and get free drinks in the casino the rest of the week. We always go on 7 day cruises. If you're winning, and putting the money back in, it helps in accumulating points without using your own money. If you get 5000 points, you automatically get a drinks on us card on your next cruise.
go to the cashier and ask for a lanyard for your sail n sign card that is stretchy so you can put it in the slot machine and still have it around your neck so you don't walk away without it Its free
Great info on the casino for the newbies!! We are not big gamblers, I do like Jenny, take $20 for each of us and play some slots Maybe one night of the cruise! I don't care for the smoke either and I'm a former smoker!! I do remember on our very first cruise we went into the casino one late night, I think around 2am or so, about an hour before they closed, played $20 on slots and came out with a little over $130!! If I Get Over A Certain amount , I cash it out and walk out..LoL...I recently went to Vegas and the 2 days I played slots there, I played with $5 and left with $126. Another time played with $20 and walked out with $148!! Not too bad....it is always best to bring whatever cash you are willing to part with and no more, once gone leave or in my case sometimes, once win enough, cash out and Leave!!
The coin pusher had me entertained the first night. The last sea day morning I won 450 on a penny slot machine. Several people that morning won too. One guy won 7k. Next time I'll wait until the last day to really play.
I love the casino. I budget a certain amount of money for every cruise and then go way over :) I did win 700.00 once though on a dollar slot machine when I was on the breeze in 2015.
haha, Jenny, I love all of the ding ding ding noises and the lights too! :) Gambling's not for everyone, but I see it as my kind of entertainment. Also loved having the live bands playing there in the casino on the Liberty.
After you reach so many points, I think it’s 1500 on table games they will give you a card to get free drinks while gambling. Usually takes us a couple days to get. We are doing a casino premier cruise next month. One of the perks is free drinks in the casino from the beginning of sailing.
Good info. Thanks much for this one. The electronic Poker Pro tables are okay. Not sure I'd call their RNG "random" as they tend to have a hot seat or two. I played a ladies free roll once a week on them at our local and you start to see patterns with them. Love those damned slot machines! They're so much fun what with the creative themes, these days. So, drinks aren't free but if you've purchased a drink package, it's good for the casino, yes? 😃
Oh those slots are calling my name. Jenny jenny come play. As we don’t get the drink package I’m not sure if the drinks are free on casino floor but there is a casino bar
My last cruise on the Carnival Magic I did really well in Poker play, Poker winnings paid for the trip. Just don't expect a lot of comps playing poker.
Get to know the casino host and occasionally they will shout the table free drinks... I only play the Texas Holden' and we often got free drinks. The trick is to get to know the Casino Host and be friendly towards them.
We had that happen in January. The one night we played we didn’t pay for any of our drinks. First cruise and we were each playing with $50 so not big time gamblers at all
Actually on my first cruise (Carnival Victory) I won my whole cruise cost(cruise, drink card, gratuity) back and some. About $1500.00 total, cant wait to get back March 2019 (Carnival Paradise) to try my luck again.
Hi Jenny and Tony I love your show I love the casino its great fun I have been on quite a few carnival cruise ships. I did like the carnival sunshine and sunrise. My best ship is the Mardi gras the casino is the largest on any carnival ship I been on. There is a smoking section and non smoking section and lots of nice slots. Regards free drinks jenny is right you have to get 1500 points.
A lot of the 21+ land based casinos serve free alcohol. A lot of the casinos here in Oklahoma are 18+ because people have to buy alcohol separately. Some are even dry.
I live in Las Vegas and I don't gamble. So I'm really not really interested in visting the casino on a ship. Slot pulls sound like fun though. But the casino closing and having to pay for drinks are totally foreign concepts to me.
At 500 points you get 5$ free slot play. At 1000 points you get a free drink card. This is good for the entire cruise in the casino up to 15 drinks per day. At 5000 points you get a bottle of wine.....above that , I’m not there yet.
La Lido Loca it didn’t take me long at all to hit 1000 points. No where near 1k invested. More like 3 or 4 hundred, plus whatever I won, which was not big, lol.
My question is if you use cash for the slots and have your sign and sail card inserted will you still receive points for for free drinks or upgrades or will it still charge your sign and sail card too?
There is a free drink card waiting for me when I get there. Well I call it free but I think you know what I mean. 1500 points on a 7 day cruise gets you the card. Went on Legend to Alaska last month and got spanked real hard. no one was winning anything either. In 3 days we sail Paradise to GC and Cuba and hope I can recoup some of it back.
We got drink card free for 1000 points on 3 day cruise with carnival, and 1500 points on 7 day cruise, We had luck first cruise won 800 dollars, played it back .
Does the casino have the table game Ultimate Texas Holdem? It’s a table game like 3 card poker or let it ride. This is not Texas Holdem nor Heads Up Holdem.
If you buy in for $100 dollars at a table game using your card and they charge 3%, don't they have to charge 103 dollars so they can give you the initial 100 dollars you want to play with instead of charging just 100 dollars and just give you 97 in chips?
I am pretty sure they deduct the charge, but I am trouble recalling now. Iy could be that you get the $100 but the 3% shows on your ship account. - Tony
@@LaLidoLoca thanks for the reply. I am sure not going to hit there numbers to get a free drink. Low betting and having fun. Wanting to know that with what I am paying for that drink package and the casino would charge for drinks. They would not get a dime from me. I know the slots can be very very tight specially with no one monitoring them on what they have to pay out. Thanks again Toni. Going in August on the Gem.
I am still lost. Is all the table games virtual or are you actually at a poker table with others and chips. Also if you go to a table and give them 100.00 should you have to show them your sail and sign card.
Poker is virtual. All touch screen. The rest of the table games are physical. You should hand them your ship card with the cash so they track your play. They will most likely ask for it. Hope that helps. - Tony
When you are on a Carnival ship that is ported in Australia will you still use US$ in casino or will it be Australian $? I can get no one to answer this question except "I'm sure....." (including Carnival employees). The ship currently is in Seattle and doing a trans-Pacific in September to Sydney and staying there for a home port. Over 80% of the passengers are Aussie so doesn't make sense to use US$ but.....
Make sure your sail card is in that machine or in the machine at the tables. They track how much time you're spending in the casino & it ads up. If you earn 5,000 points u are likely to get drinks, comps and a Bounce back. Yet not all are casino players big time so enjoy it and talk hype the game, charm, BE NICE!
Where do I find the fb group for the slot pull for carnival Breeze sept 28th 2019 can u help anyone?? Luv your channel but no one ever replies!! Ty so much Cindy Olazabal
When I have won big in California, ( not often enough though!) I am given a W2G and have to report winnings on my tax return. On a cruise in international waters does the cruise casino do that also?
I love casinos, but on the vista it was hard to find a cheap slot! Or maybe i was just blinded my flashy screens, i thought i was betting 40 cents turns out i was betting 80cents! One spin i think i went up to 10 bucks! So your $20 is gone in 2 minutes or less! So do math and only out in what your willing to lose!
Blackjack is a dishonest game on carnival.they take all the queens out of a 8 deck shoe .this dramatically changes the odds in favor of the house. I also noticed that the slots are looser early in the cruise.so if you're up early in the cruise you may want to quit gambling.
I have been a cruise slot player for a number of years and all the jackpots I have won equally happened during the beginning, middle, and end of my cruises. So from my experience I see no difference in increasing my odds of winning by playing on certain cruise days. My largest cruise jackpot thus far was on day 1 on the NCL Epic 2 years ago. I put $20 in a $3 max bet older progressive no bells and whistles machine and on the 3rd spin hit the top jackpot for $7,500. On my recent Crown Princess cruise I was in the casino on the 3rd or 4th night of a 10 day cruise and a woman playing a few machines over from me won a $9,200 jackpot. This particular machine this woman was playing was a penny progressive with the lowest bet that covered all the lines was 32 cents a spin which was what she was betting. But on this machine the size of bet did not matter to win the top jackpot, it was picking the right boxes if the random top jackpot bonus came up which did for her and she picked the right boxes. IMO this woman was a very smart player because she knew even if she didn't win a jackpot which she never thought she would, or any other major money to speak of, with a 32 cent a spin bet she could play a good amount of time and have fun in the process without loosing the farm. And if she was lucky which she was still have the opportunity of winning the top jackpot even with her low bet.
I agree that you can hit a big jackpot any time and it's random. But I do believe that the cruises make the slots looser at the beginning of the cruise to attract the casual player and tighten them up as the cruise goes on.
They only do that on fun21 which is basically Spanish 21 with has it own rules that have good features if you know the rules. They have regular blackjack that has the queens. Watch out for the 5/6 versus the 3/2 payouts on blacljacks

I also heard that if you don't cash in at the end of the cruise it can take up to 3 months to get a cheque from the cruise line for your winnings.
I can attest to that, it too over 2 months!
I won 400 on a spin at roulette, after that they were giving me drinks. On the Paradise.
Darlene crone very nice! Love when they start giving you free stuff.
La Lido Loca.... great video. I learned a lot. Much love to you both!

Out of New Orleans the casino opens right after sailing due to Louisiana gaming laws.

It 1000 on short cruises, less than 6 days, 1500 on longer cruises for free drinks. 3000 I think gets a dinner. 5000 gets balcony offers.
Using the player bank as described to get cash, can get your account frozen. Best to play a few spins before going to the cashier.

J G you start new on every cruise. It would be great if they rolled over!
Right, I was going to ask the $ per pt ratio. Caesars properties are $5 = 1 pts. So 1,000 points is A LOT!
