"Discover a new species" seeing that car come out of the ocean so professionally done , with those Chevy ji gle vocals, so timeless like hearing a coke commercial in a car in 1989 while watching Indiana Jones in an RV back then while driving into Las Vegas now that must been incredible

@@mrbears34 It peaked in the 1950's-60's, then it tanked dramatically in the 70's-80's, then came back up again in the 1990s.

I love how desperate the Cadillac ads were. They were like "Why is no one buying our shit anymore??"

That afternoon evening reddish orange glow in these commercials and that cyberpunk outdoor desert scene usually filmed for cheap an hour east of Los Angeles where the commercials were made, they always showed the Sierra Nevada in the background etc, and some shots of a guy standing in front of desert rocks and a pile of old CRT tvs all showing videos of the car etc with smoke machine

No, they all had A/C and heating. Base models might not have A/C, but by the mid 80's most of them did.

@@derkommissar4986 I guess it depends where you live. But it was hot as balls where I lived in the 80's. Fun fact. You can look up the weather in your town for whatever month/day/year you want to. I just think we didn't complain as much back then. In fact home AC was a luxury many people did not have. So there was that. I was born in 1982 and remember many of my friends did not have AC in their home. You could get factory AC in your car as far back as the 60's and could get dealer installed AC in cars in the 1950's. It was a box that sat under the dash between the seats.

Funny how they used DISCRIMINATING as a positive adjective to describe a car engine back then lol "most commanding masterful powerful car on the market, and it looks great it white. The Supreme driving machine" its like a Chapelle show or CSA skit
