Deku looks menacing as all hell in the end of that fight with overhaul, and with the AFO theme playing it was like he was a villan

I balled my eyes out during the fight between Deku and Muscular. That was the most heartbreaking moment I've ever seen expressed in any show ever. I've never seen this show, and I've been binging it for the first time. I don't know what this kid's future looks like. I don't know if he still has his limbs, or use of his arms, or what. I don't know if he gets destroyed here or not. So when he is forced to face off with this monster... for it was a truly unknown outcome - and to me, it really seemed like this kid was about to die.
But he still stands up to Muscular and defends the kid who hates him against all odds. Its an impossible situation. And it made me think of my son. And when he nearly breaks when he's being crushed... and he appologizes to his mom... and All Might... I lost it.
And then when he manages to tap into the true power of All for One... destroying his arms once again in the process... with this insanely uplifting soundtrack - I lost it again.
I don't think I've ever seen a better artistic expression of growing and overcoming impossible odds. I've rewatched that battle dozens of times in the last few days since I've seen it - it stirs something deep within me.
And thats why this is going down as one of the best shows ever created in my book.
And more than that... There is such a higher level them that underpins all of this... the general vulnerability that everyone must feel since there is no more 'superman' - All Might. Reflects the world we live in, and the low level fear we all share due to all these 'crazy people turning the world upside down'.
