What a surprise that the Peavey Vandenberg is coming back...Nostalgia reborn for us X generation. Great interview..
But also an opportunity for us younger 80s fans to experience what we couldn't :)
@@Mr.Goldbar I hope so 😉
I recently bought a Fernandes Vandenburg, bolt on, with the pink squares. It's an incredible guitar! I'm looking for the set neck version, with the red squares now.
I could be interested in a Gibson scale shred machine ,would like a maple board though & about same price as the new Kramer nightswan
Adrian is such a cool, laid back and humble person. On top of that he influenced a generation of players and continues to🎸🎸🎸
I AM A MASSIVE UNCLE~MR.ADRIAN VANDENBERG FAN..THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS VIDEO 📹..
Thank you so much for including one of my questions! Really cool interview!
Can’t wait to see the new Vandenberg.
Great interview. Adrian on point as always, lovely man ❤🎸🤘🏻🥰
I'm Happy to see you again!!🎉😃💖✨✨✨✨✨✊🎸
I had the Raspberry Colored Vandenberg signature model. It was soooooooo good. I can’t wait for the new ones!
Adje was a huge influence on me, my first ever concert was Kiss with Vandenberg opening(83?) I thought Adrian had such a cool style with such melodic and inventive solos and great songs. I also had a Peavey Vandenberg, a black neck through Custom, and that was one of the best quality guitars I have ever owned. Truly high end custom shop level instrument.
I'd love to snag up one of those Vandenberg Peaveys new or old! Love Adrian, very humble and easy going. Very talented and underrated player, have always loved his plunky style of playing.
Great guitarist. I have four of the old albums which are really good. Thanks for the interview to both you and Andrian.
Very cool interview! Look forward to buying his signature model! 🤘🤘💯🎸
I traded my 97’ LP Standard, with a Vandenberg in the late 2000’s.
It was purple. What a beast of a guitar! Only one I ever Saw in Denmark, where I am from. Really miss that axe sometimes💪
An amazing and very creative guitarist! May God bless him!
I'm going to start saving money right now for that shred machine. The best gear news from 2023.
killer nice dude and guitarist!
Another great interview Derek! Adrian is a master shredder and seemingly a great guy too. 🤘😎
Thanks brother, happy you like it! 🙏 Adrian is hands down one of the nicest guys we’ve interviewed to date 👌🎸🎸🎸
I can confirm that Derek is GREAT GUY!
Love the video man! I own the Peavey EXP V type series and it’s awesome!! Adrian Vandenberg is an amazing guitarist!!!!
this legend is 69 years old, he looks and sounds amazing
I had a Vandenberg model guitar that I gave to the late Aayne Swinny of Saliva. Adrian was so awesome and said he would sign it for him. I don’t think it ever happened but Adrian was such a stand up guy.
Great Interview! Love the Vandenburg sound! And Him! Cool dude.
Thanks for tuning in and happy you liked the interview! 🙏🎸 Adrian is a class act 👌🤘🎸🎸🎸
Thank you for the in depth interview! Most comprehensive interview that I have heard with him in a long time..🖤💜🖤💜
Great video Derik.. Mr Shred.. Love me some Andrian. Have since before whitesnake. I remember him playing the reverse headstock Strat.. I also remember he had a killer Fernandez with like staggered boxes painted on it.. for lack of a better description.
He was always very melodic.
I love it that he is using stainless frets and floyds.. It's about time man!
Love it.. Great interview sir.. Thanks so much man! Really appreciate it.. I'm also a guitarists from back in the day.. I'm 61 years old and still rocking man.. Just built a strat with two emg humbuckers.. Stainless frets;.. 6100 x jumbo's, etc.. Plus I have a 91 Charvel with a schaller trem I love.. A preditor..
Thanks again.
From South Central Indiana. The heartland..
Tim
So good to see these guys again, I actually just bought a Peavey V-type exp which is the off shore version of his signature model. It was in storage for 20 years mint condition. I've bought a bunch of stuff for it, New Schaller tremolo system and Seymour Duncan blackouts and Fu-tone Titanium parts and brass big block. It's gonna be a complete shred monster! This was a golden era for music. Such a great thing to see again! I also have a 1989 Kramer Nightswan Aztec that I bought new at the time. I limited myself to only buying reverse headstock guitars lol. I have a Kramer Dave Sabo signature model as well, Think I have a problem.
That's going to be a killer axe!!
The original trem on the V-Type is not bad though, only thing I did change in recent years where the posts and added a goeldo blackbox, the rest is still going strong, and it does stay in tune.
I did use it on some of the covers on my channel, pups are cheap yet good sounding Warmann’s and electronics switchcraft and CTS.
As an owner of 9 of the 80's and 90's guitars I can't wait to see the new one and grab up 1 or 2. Great interview.
One hell of a guy and guitar slayer. Vandenberg album Heading for the Storm. A fucking classic.
New Album is a monster I hope they come to Canada
Love Adrian thanks for this one Hello from Newfoundland Canada
Yat Ronnie king
Fun-tastic interview ! Thanks💖
Thanks so much for tuning in! Happy you like it!🙏🎸🔥
Another GREAT interview! Thanks for the entertainment.
Nice to see, always loved the Burning Heart solo. Funny detail for all Dutch viewers, like me: listen to Adrian at 12:00
He wants to correct himself and says in Dutch: "Ow, nee" which is Dutch for "Ow, no".
Love Vandenberg. Fun interview 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great interview! Stainless steel frets too on the new model! That’s awesome quality.
Thanks so much for tuning in! 🙏 We are beyond thrilled by the specs these reissues will have! 🙌🎸🎸
They aren't good, they feel funny. Bending is strange.
I miss my quilt top maple signature Vandenberg so much!!! I AM SO STOKED!!!!!!!
Wish i still had mine!
12:00 “oh nee”, like a real Dutch. The Flying Dutchman Adje.
Wonderful and very interesting! So cool that you asked Adrian my question, thank you 🙏
Well done Yvonne❤
@@margaretdale757 Aaaww, thank you 😊🙏
The interviewer looks like Freddy Mercury to me...on another note, Adrian has always been down to earth and humble...good to see he's still playing
Greeeeeat news
God Bless Mr Vandenberg
First and third records are very good.
Jake E. Lee was doing the slanted humbucker thing himself from the early 80s on. I think Steve Stevens also had something like that on some of his signature models.
So cool to hear Adrian i
n such a great way - he has both a really good attitude and is so positive (which is so great) the d4fff DC fda
❤
I love your guitar
The best Flying Dutchman out there ;)
There were three Strat style guitars I wanted, the Peavey, the Kramer Nightswan, and a Jackson or Charvel Dinky.
Love Adrian such an awesome player cool classy and smart person. My favorite guitar ever was my pink Vandenberg minus that nasty kaylor 😂😂
You mean Kahlers. Kahlers are superior to Floyd Rose products.
They should do one with the black, white, and red Fernandes graphic from the '87 album era
❤❤🎉🎉
Cool dude, funny too
I only have 6 Peavey Vandenbergs and a Fernandes AV155, ESP Horizon, a Heritage 80 Les Paul and an Ovation Legend ... now I have to get like 6 more dammit! ;d
What an interesting down to earth guy I checked out the peavy site A few weeks ago the msrp on these are insanely $$$ 😥
Peavey Vandenberg and V-type in rocket pink with black puzzle shapes would be excellent. If you can, put the Fernandes graphics on a Peavey.
Want a ADJI autographed dark blue Peavey Vandenberg gtr !
A shred guitar with a full floating term that's 24.5 inch scale with a tiny neck...
Is there anything out there right now to buy new?
I think the Kramer nightswan fits this description but the trem isn't fully floating?
Any suggestions?
do you have a episode with Vitto bratta
We wish we did! It would be an honor to sit down with Vito! 🙌🎸🎸🎸
This guy was THE most sexy looking hairbander in the 80s that freaking blonder curled locks i was alwayZ sooo jealous 😂😂
What about the Charvel Vandenberg?
On the left: Freddy Mercury on steroids
Is Adrian Vandenberg literally the nicest most humble person in Rock music ?
I have a Vandenberg Puzzle that I don't even like to play because the Kahler is a nightmare... and I can't sell it that easily because it cost a fortune. I'm considering bastardizing it like you did because eff the collector snobs.
I agree, if people don't have something nice to say, whey say anything at all.. Why bring people down? I don't get it..
Sometimes people have to confront certain situations with things that aren’t nice. Don’t be a beta.
@@afterstars Of course, but you don't have to be a dick for the sake of being a dick either.
@@afterstarswhoa… we got a keyboard ALPHA over here. Please just take whatever you want man, we don’t want any trouble 😂
You must be new to the internet lol
@@chadking574 LOL
I will say it: Slip of the Tongue would have been better if Adrian played on it. No disrespect to Vai. He did his best, but Adrian wrote it.
Is this Dave Mustaine or Adrian Vandenberg? Hard to tell 😊
Bonamassa could have gotten "Greeny", but Kirk Hammett beat him to it.
Next time call him Adje and not Adrian, it’s like John and Johnny, Joe and Joey. Adrian and Adje. 😂😂😂
