    I did this to my nephews hp probook 7 years ago and still works fine now and is used everyday

    With 480's running so hot I'm surprised they don't reflow themselves.
    Also, reflow temps usually start at 220C, perhaps try ramping up the oven and see how that goes.

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  4 года назад

      😂Good point. And yeah, I screwed up temps-wise. The times I got it to work I had the oven set way higher but I only remembered after the fact. I'm going to try it again at a higher temp and give it a few more minutes and that should do the trick.

    What do i must take in consideration to know which power supplier to buy? And im sorry for asking this stuff in your comments i just need help to understand what i need for my first pc so i don’t waste my money.

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  4 года назад +2

      No problem, always happy to help. For power supplies the main things to consider are wattage and brand. For most systems a 500-550W power supply should be more than enough, as long as you're going with one of the better-known brands like Corsair, Cooler Master, EVGA and a few others. Just try not to go too cheap on your PSU, because if it dies it could take the rest of your system with it.

    • @ronyjames3060
      @ronyjames3060 4 года назад

      Just Tank im about to purchase a EVGA 650W Bronze. Also can you recommend me some case fans with or with out RGB on an entry level price ?

      Just Tank im sorry if im being a pain, but two more question.
      Which do you recommend me more a G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 16gb ram or the CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16gb ram?
      Does it make that much of a difference ?

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  4 года назад +1

      @@ronyjames3060 That's a solid PSU for the price. As for fans, I love Corsair's LL-series, but they're definitely not entry-level. Noctua and be quiet! are great too, but also a little pricey. Maybe look into Corsair and Cooler Master's more budget-friendly range, they're pretty good value.
