When using mascara most people don't actually "roll the brush through" their lashes. They keep it still, instead. Rolling, the brush through them, makes a huge difference. Yes, she's amazing 💓
I do something like this, but I use an electronic hand fan to "cure" my lashes in place before each new coat. I have very heavy lashes and they will just fall and lay down straight if I don't do this. Really opens up the eyes, too.
This makes a lot of sense. I usually do a first coat and let it only halfway dry before applying the second coat for a thicker effect, yet the shape/height is still malleable at that point. I have always done this weird thing where I continuously "blink slowly against the wand" to comb them with the mascara brush. Covergirl Lashblast (purple, orange, or green) is my holy grail. Very buildable and not flakey. I do one eye, dip, go to the other, and then go back over them again without dipping the brush again.

You've helped make my point, thank you. It's ok to teach people who might not know but they act like it was invented by Erin Parson's. She is a great MUA but that no new techniques, I do enjoy her historical makeup ( well the 1 I've seen so far, I'm quite an expert myslef so I'll be looking out for mistakes as we all should)
I'm obsessed with Erin, she is so gorgeous and smart. The complete package.
I follow this Lady she is amazing and doesn't steer people wrong 10/10 recommend
Yup! They made it illegal to use false lashes in mascara ads awhile back. It was widespread false advertising.
and to counter that they just get people with natural long lashes lol
I'm glad I'm in love with my natural beauty cuz this is too much work for me 😭😭
I'm with you...I'm over hearing about "that" mascara.
What is it??? I feel like I live under a rock xD
@@RavenSutcliffe I think, and this is just a guess. but I think it's the mascara that an influencer advertised as doing what falsies would do, while she was wearing falsies.
@@zuzzzied that’s exactly it lmao
Erin Parsons is a queen ❤❤❤❤❤
Cool cause she's pretty! ❤🎉
I'm impressed you can talk and not hold your mouth open while applying mascara lol. I couldn't do it.
It was VERY hard! 😂❤️
I sorta do the same thing but also spin the wand and shimmy it back and forth while combing through. Been doing it like that since I started wearing mascara.
Underrated mascara for suuuuuuure
@@mirthstudios I went to cosmetology school a decade ago (used to do freelance but had to get out of it due to health) and have tried many high end & cheap mascaras over the years but I haven't found anything that compares.
You would love the L’Oreal telescopic. I’ve been using Lancome and if you had a really nice ones for years and years and I am now using telescopic because it’s a dupe and it’s awesome.
He's used it...
My mom loves the Lancôme mascara. For me…. It’s meh…
Erin is my #1 favorite of MUA.
The way the visual medium of the shorts is perfect for the peer review of makeup techniques.
i feel like all of my lashes would fall off even just doing that once
Omg the way your hand was shaking while using the lash curler made me so anxious. I'm always so afraid of accidentally pulling on it 😭
I like how she said “we’re not allowed” but not “we never use them”
So each time she speaks on it she has to say both statements for you to be satisfied? She doesn’t use them she has said that before but here you are making an issue out of nothing
@@kuroo8484 I’m literally just stating a fact, so idk what “big deal” you think I’m making here
An excellent (thorough and engaging) demonstration. 🎉
That is amazing!! I'm gonna try that tip! 😮💙
"And wiggle it on the tips." 💀
Someone needa lock my mind up fr
We'd be cell mates.😅
@@tonyascarlett2413 We’d all be cell mates😬
@@cassie_meyeygbvuoabouac Stop what? Wiggling it on the tip or commenting?
@bloom_waranty I know you meant it like that. That is kinda the same by my comment. Jokingly. Because inappropriate comments a voicing my opinion is kinda my thing
Back in the 80's we did this excerpt we used a toothbrush b/c there wasn't eye lash combs.
I still have my eyelash/eyebrow comb from 1983!
Damn my hooded eyes could never, the sad part is that i actually have long lashes but they look so short because of my eye shape. Me and my sister are always joking about the fact that we both got the ugliest features from both sides of the family, i used to think it was just a joke but growing up i'm starting to realize how true her words were
The liner is really what made it pop...but absolutely using the lash combs helps so much! My grandma taught me that trick 25 years ago and I still do it! Helps to individualize your lashes to help build the volume! I always comb my lashes before applying mascara which really makes application a lot more natural and clean and helps avoid clumps!
She is amazingly talented.....im not really much of a make up tutorial watcher and normally scroll past them... but her nikki and you i will always watch your shorts. As someone who has hooded eyes and always have its not just an age thing ..eyeshadow and wings are wasted on my eyes i thjnk thats why ive never got into makeup much.
Actually ive stop using eye lashes using her tutorial ❤❤❤❤ I love that girl 😍
For real. You're just the most attractive person ever!
This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone say to curl your lashes from the tips on in to the root… I have been doing that for decades and it makes a huge difference! 👏👏👏
So nice to see an older than 20 or 30 something woman giving makeup advice! She looks amazing! I tried this and still looked like tarantula eyes, but I am hopeless with makeup. It's fun to try new things though!
I need a refresher, RUclips recommended this channel and I am currently working as a lead at Sephora within my area. I love your Videos so real! 😊
I adore her! Great instructor as well, plus she is a vintage dream girl!
I absolutely adore her, I love her knowledge on beauty history, she's so cool!!
Erin is Iconic ❤❤❤
She is the super model of the make up world !! House down BOOTS
She is definitely amazing!❤
Absolutely adore Erin!!! She is my FAVE makeup artist! Especially when she talks about makeup from the past!
