Another great video. This video brings back memories of my childhood. we pick the cashew and eat the fruit raw. They were so juicy and sweet. The remaining fruit will be used for jams and sweet stews. The nuts were roasted, shelled, and sold.

Está fruta en mi país Venezuela a las orillas del Río Orinoco es silvestre y en Estados de Ciudad Bolívar, se fabrica el Merey pasado qué se fabrica con la pulpa de este fruto y es muy sabrosa y demandada, se le saca el líquido y se unta con Azúcar y se coloca al Sol. Y el resultado es una mezcla de la pulpa qué se convierte en negra, y es muy rico.

I had a big laugh seeing you put on a helmet when cooking cashew nuts🤣...i remember when i was young (4,5 years old) my family used to bake cashew nuts in the pan full of clean sands...so you will avoid smokes going into your eyes and the nuts well cooked...u need to peel of the burnt skins to get those fresh nuts...yum yum...anyway i enjoyed your videos as they remind me of the good old days in my hometown at the east Malaysia peninsular...

It's a yellow cashew nut plant. I didn't know there is a yellow 1 til saw this video. Only knew of the red 1. And the red 1 is toxic. Can only eat the cashew nut. So I was surprised to see this lady being able to eat the yellow fruit of this yellow cashew plant. I guess the yellow cashew's fruit is safe.
