Kattar spent 100% of that match just trying to survive. He wasn't willing to open up, so you just took the safe route and dominated. The lower end of top 10 is a test to see how a former champ will do in a new division. They're not going to put a former champ's weight class debut against someone outside the top 10. Kabib always did a good job of taking away the post up arm when he fought against the cage. Not sure if your hands where free to do that before you went for the back or tried to sink the leg hooks . You know I completely agree. However, due to the rules sometimes the referees may stand-up the fighters due to lack of action. Which understand but also don’t. I get the “excitement and entertainment” part of the sport but it’s still as fight. Just fight.

As a fan I’ve noticed your cautiousness has been a strength for so long that it can hinder you. You’ve taken advantage of stalemates very often. The one time in recent memory that you took an extreme risk you got KO’d. Don’t let that hinder you ESPECIALLY in grappling exchanges. You are one of the best grapplers TAKE YOUR RISKS THERE!

I've cheered against Aljo most of his career and i definitely didn't think he'd be coming close to a title at 145 but I won't deny how good he looked vs Kattar, and a win over a guy like Evloev who he could easily beat probably gets him that title fight.

Your ufc 300 predictions and this video could be cut to 10 minute videos and I think you’d get a lot more clicks. 30-60 minutes is a huge time commitment for people and there is a lot of things you could cut from a long video like that. Still upload the long version (extended) but definitely upload a under 10 min version and you’ll get a lot more shares, views, likes, and followers. Good content champ

Grapplers MUST get finishes or at least leave their opponents in a pool of their own blood to be entertaining to 90% of the fanbase. It is what it is.
My thoughts before watching your video
I think you had a decent performance. Pretty dominant performance. Would still like to see more evolution in your striking game. A little more volume/combination and less spinning attacks. Seems like Hail Mary at times. Interested to see if you can even develop power at 145.
