जब पंचशील समझौता (1954) हुआ तो पंडित जी ने तिब्बत को चीन का भाग करार दे दिया था। पंडित नेहरू जी की महान गलतियों में यह एक है। सन् 1962 में जब चीन ने भारत पर आक्रमण किया तो चीनी सेना इसी रास्ते से आक्रमण करने के लिए आई थी और हम हिंदी चीनी भाई-भाई के नारे लगा रहे थे। हम जानते हैं कि चीन युद्ध (1962) में भारत हार गया था। इस हार के कारणों को जानने के लिए लै. जनरल हैडरसन और कमांडर ब्रिगेडियर भारत सरकार की अगुवाई में एक समिति का गठन किया गया था जिसमें भारत के तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री पंडित नेहरू जी को जिम्मेदार ठहराया गया था। आज भी चीन ने भारत की 14000 वर्ग किलोमीटर भूमि पर अपना कब्जा किया हुआ है

This was a disappointing video. The information provided was inadequate and one-sided. Mr Tripurdaman Singh fails to provide the background in which the amendment was made. At that time, communalism was at its peak. The Father of the Nation had been assassinated and illiteracy and superstitions were through the roof. To make matters worse, communists had announced a violent revolution against India. All these forces were disseminating hateful and divisive ideas all over India. People like Pandit Nehru, Rajaji, and Dr Ambedkar realised that something had to be done to protect the unity of India and the well-being of Indians. Mr Singh makes it seem like nobody could oppose Pandit Nehru. Is that really the case? Did Rajaji and Dr Ambedkar not oppose him? But when they did, did they mention the amendment brought to free speech?
How problematic situation was prior to the amendment can be understood from the fact that a judge had given a judgement that said that preaching murder and inciting violence were allowed as they came under freedom of speech. Those who are interested can read more about this here:

This was not expected from Lallantop. Mr Singh's works clearly carry an unjustifiable anti-Nehru undercurrent. His book on him was also somewhat shallow and displayed a lack of engagement with his ideas and the context in which he was working. Please don't look at only one side of the story.
Edit: Just how partial Mr Singh's views can be grasped from the fact that he did not highlight the following words of Sardar Patel:
“I find no legal powers to deal with either Press or men like Syama Prasad Mookerjee. Before you left for Indonesia, I drew your attention to the Supreme Court decision in [the] Cross Roads and Organiser cases. That knocks the bottom out of most of our penal laws for the control and regulation of the Press. The views which they have expressed in that judgment on the question of sedition make it doubtful whether we can do anything not only about the speeches of Syama Prasad Mookerjee but also those of the more extremist type. As you say, we have involved ourselves in so many legal and constitutional difficulties that we do not know how to overcome them. I sounded a note of warning and caution when these provisions were being debated in the Drafting Committee, but then we were led away by our idealistic exuberance. We seldom paused to consider the practical and administrative applications of the many constitutional provisions and even their interrelation. My own feeling is that very soon we shall have to sit down and consider constitutional amendments.”

If those who have significant influence and don't believe in the politics of hate will not do what they need to, then how will we have any hope of defending the truth?

It should be compulsory for MP's to study the Constitution and watch the previous proceedings of the Parliament both audiovisually and textually and test their proficiency and deny them a second term if they fail absymally . It has nothing to do with academic learning, just in case, due to lack of opportunity, poverty or any other handicap they have not gone to institutions of learning. It will result in better debates and improved laws.

No, Nehru did not take away people's freedom by making the first amendment to the Indian Constitution, as it was intended to benefit the people. However, the actual outcome differed from the promised benefits, and the government failed to fulfill its commitments, much like in politics where promises are often not kept. Therefore, in essence, the amendment did restrict people's freedom, as the government's actions did not align with their words ! 🙏

The first amendment in May 1951 was a dirty act of mutilating fundamental rights by bothAmbedkar and Nehru. Ambedkar is said to have initiated it to nullify the verdict of Supreme Court regarding admission to professional courses. A Tamil Brahmin girl student was denied admission in medical college by arbitrarily applying the reservation in public jobs to reservation in admission too in professional colleges. Supreme court had ruled that the constitutional provision did not apply to admissions. Ambedkar wanted to nullify the Supreme court order and Nehru agreed for an amendment by including two more clauses in this amendment as per his whims to curb freedom of speech and Right to property.
Needless to say , reservation in admission was a big jolt to talent and led to social disharmony in a big way by killing the career of the youth of General category as well as causing big harm to quality of Govt colleges . No wonder the quality of Universities and Institutes created by the British went on declining in quality after 1951. A big sin of Ambedkar.Curb on freedom of speech ir expression was another big sin of Nehru.

5. Congress divided the Hindu into SIKHS and JAINS. The congress further divided the HIndu into DALITS...SC/ST

6. Congress declared the 30% Muslim second largest population of India as THE MINORITY on the basis of the religion,
against main spirits of the constitution having no regard on the basis of religion and castes. Even if the Muslim
population would cross over 70%, still the Muslims shall be categorized as in MINORITY as per the Unfair constitution.
There is no need to save the present constitution of India........as the present constitution of India is sufficient for

This was a disappointing video. The information provided was inadequate and one-sided. Mr Tripurdaman Singh fails to provide the background in which the amendment was made. At that time, communalism was at its peak. The Father of the Nation had been assassinated and illiteracy and superstitions were through the roof. To make matters worse, communists had announced a violent revolution against India. All these forces were disseminating hateful and divisive ideas all over India. People like Pandit Nehru, Rajaji, and Dr Ambedkar realised that something had to be done to protect the unity of India and the well-being of Indians. Mr Singh makes it seem like nobody could oppose Pandit Nehru. Is that really the case? Did Rajaji and Dr Ambedkar not oppose him? But when they did, did they mention the amendment brought to free speech?
How problematic situation was prior to the amendment can be understood from the fact that a judge had given a judgement that said that preaching murder and inciting violence were allowed as they came under freedom of speech. Those who are interested can read more about this here:

This was not expected from Lallantop. Mr Singh's works clearly carry an unjustifiable anti-Nehru undercurrent. His book on him was also somewhat shallow and displayed a lack of engagement with his ideas and the context in which he was working. Please don't look at only one side of the story.

As you say, we have involved ourselves in so many legal and constitutional difficulties that we do not know how to overcome them. We seldom paused to consider the practical and administrative applications of the many constitutional provisions and even their interrelation. My own feeling is that very soon we shall have to sit down and consider constitutional amendments.”
