Last Wednesday, with the windows open due to the heat, I was on the phone with the credit card company because they froze my accounts just as I was trying to buy my meds, which keep me alive, due to someone stealing my card details. 😒
Because I could not hear what the associate was trying to say with the loud sirens in the background, I looked out the window to see a police car parked outside my place with two constables in the front eating and chatting, not responding to a call.
So, I asked the associate to hold on for brief moment politely, placed my hand over the receiver and yelled in a Mexican accent, ' ¡Callate!, ¡la policia de la porqueria!' That means 'Shut up, crappy police!' Then, the associate asked me if I am Mexican, which I am, and they told me, they were Mexican, too. 😂 Then, I did not have to pay extra post for my cards to arrive earlier. 😉 Lots of love and light!
With sirens - yes, with idiots sitting in cars with the engine running - no xD
