One can invest in Large Cap Funds or Flexi Cap Funds which are tilted towards large cap stocks to get the requisite large cap holdings in one's portfolio. If one has a higher risk tolerance then they can look at Flexi Cap Funds which have holdings in mid and small cap stocks. The biggest mistake one can make is postponing investing in equities. One looks to buy things first without setting aside sufficient money for investments. One must also focus on retirement goals and invest to achieve them. One's risk profile changes over one's life because investment needs will change. Keep an eye on lifestyle spending and incorporate them into your investment portfolio.
