I have a Teyun Q-12 and used instruments(Electric Bass) for it and its too quiet even with the highest gain and clips too much, when recording its not the sound you expect because i can't get the tone i want which has many effects. If you go overboard just a tiny bit white noise is apparent, its okay for guitars not for bass because of its low fequencies. For microphones and etc it does it job but definitely not for high quality audio which i believed in, its a great mini mixer to add your xlr mics in your desktop you can always adjust your gain in windows or Voicemeeter, Just don't buy it if you want a clear sound quality for recording and just save up and get a better one like focusrite.
hello, pwede ba ito na ang input mo is yun teyun pero ang output mo is speakers ng PC? hassle kasi na may nakasuot na headphone habang nag rerecord. thanks
I'm sorry but it's not a mixer but actually a basic audio interface and that's all it can do. It will turn on automatically when connected to a pc or laptop and the cable came with the unit, so no need to buy anything to use this to work. It has no switch on/off. I don't get your last question, what do you mean by "music bases from pc?
Hello po, puwede po ba gamitin yung q12 po as a plug and play po para sa electric guitar? Like i-plug po yung electric guitar sa q12 po tapos yung q12 sa laptop with a digital amp then naka connect yung headphone o Speaker sa audio interface. Para magawang amp yung laptop po. Puwede po ba yun?
Opo. Pero di po siya zero latency. Kung gagamitin nyo siya pang practice practice at digital amp and effects gagamitin nyo mejo alanganin. Pero kung recording at alam nyo mag adjust, ok naman siya.
Hey, Is there any feedback or noise when you don't add a Noise Gate but do add Distortion/Overdrive? (Also thanks a lot. I've been looking for a vid like this for the last 2 hours now)
Thanks for asking! Yes, it's normal to hear some hiss when using distortion or overdrive without a noise gate. Distortion can amplify background noise, but a noise gate cuts it off when you're not playing, giving you a cleaner sound. Hope this helps!
@@Danmusic2024 Thanks, It does help a lot, but how much noise is there? like is it very audible or barely ?(I guess that depends on how much distortion you apply). How high do u have to set up the noisegate? is it high enough that it doesn't pick up some quiet sounds or does it not affect the overall sound so much that its noticeable?
@alesundgresiek8389 May I ask what distortion you plan on using? Because I use plugins like Amped Roots and NAM. If you want I could send you a raw audio recording so you can try those plugins I use. But for more accurate way to get the noise floor, should plug a dummy mic which I don't have. With a dummy mic the noise floor is only the pre-amp noise.
@@Danmusic2024 I'll be using Guitar Rig 6 Pro. I'm currently using it too but because I don't have an interface, I've connected the guitar directly into the Microphone port of the computer through an aux cable and a converter which works but has a lot of noise and is unstable. I'll be using varying amounts of distortion from almost clean to Metal. In each of those settings, would the noise be loud enough to be heard? Will Noise gate block out some lower sounds that were intentional like maybe a weak pinch harmonic? If its convenient for you, can you please send a raw audio recording of low distortion with and without noise gate, high distortion with and without noise gate, and if there is an Eddie Van Halen Preset on your plugin, maybe that; with and without noise gate. Thanks a ot. Also how will you send it to me?
@alesundgresiek8389 no worries, will do it tomorrow. It's almost late here in the Philippines. I've done a direct to aux in recording before I had a usb interface multi effects in 2015. In my experience it sounded more distorted and harder to eq in post processing. Anyway, about the interface; for clean amps the noise is subtle but you can still hear it if you are listening in quiet environment and with a loud enough volume, for distortions it's really audible. So I wouldn't use it in a song which has a guitar only sections. It needs to be with other instruments. When I already send you the samples, just message me again and I will share other tricks to clean it more other than by just using a noise-gate
@@ramzistinson there is a button for live monitoring. no delay at all. You can hear the raw sound of what you plug in into the interface without the effects from the daw. But if you want to hear the efects from the pc or DAWm there is a noticeable delay,
Yes and no. Yes if you will use a a pedal or multi effects to the left input because it is only for line in and mic input. So plugging in a guitar directly to it will not have much gain and loose brightness, but some plugin (if you will use any amp sims) don't like to have gain, so it's ok. To the right input, of course you can plug a guitar directly, it's design for it (the high impedance input or high z which is +10db in this interface)
thanks po sa mabilis na reply, Should I use this interface or guitar cable to USB nalang para rekta walang latency ?
Walang latency pr delay yun.

I actually play both bass and guitar, i just wondered that if the bass sound bad then can do something to get a better sound
Use an amp sim plugin
good stuff brother thank you for the video

Merong DAW 3 CHANNEL. mono R, mono L, Stereo. Tapos kung meron external driver gaya ng Asio4ll sa loob nun meron din.

Kamusta boss ung latency ng live monitoring?
Walang latency pag live monitoring. Parang mic lang na sinaksak sa karaoke. Rekta talaga maririnig
I can use a 1/4 inch cable to directly connect it to a guitar right? Or do i need xlr to 1/4 inch
Xlr and/or 1/4 jack both all ok
compatible ba to sa reaper daw or any daw?
any DAW siguro basta gagana yung Asio4all, yun gamit kong driver
is it compatible with ampli simulators in pc ? and which one you're using ?
it's compatible, i use the Cakewalk DAW

If you config it right the lantency is almost imperceptible

CakeWalk by Bandlab, pero dito sa video na to Audacity lang
