Try Rendlesham Forest over towards Woodbridge. Less jet noise there. There are some golf courses round there. saw one on my way back from Woodbridge yesterday. well done on finding a cat to pet at last

You are lucky to have access to 24 hour toilets in England, I live in Pembrokeshire in Wales which is a beautiful place however I would not recommend it for anyone car camping or visiting really as the council are closing down the public toilets at various beaches and at the nature walk in Neyland to save money 🙄
