The squares from 40 to 50 are very easy they follow a pattern:
    40 × 40 = 1600
    41×41=1681
    42×42=1764
    43×43=1849
    44×44=1936
    45×45=2025
    46×46=2116
    47×47=2209
    48×48=2304
    49×49=2401
    50×50=2500
The first 2 digits are just no.s in increasing order and the last two digits are squares of no.s from 9 to 0
    I noticed this while studying
    Thought it would help😅

This is a modified method (derived) from the full square (the square of the first term + double the first in the second + square of the last term) In order for the result to be correct, do not add the numbers in the normal way, but collect them by leaving an order as the traditional multiplication method. Good job, you combined the full square with regular multiplication.Good work.

Try using this formula, (a+b)² or (a-b)². Depending on the condition such as when need to get square of 96, we can write as(100-4)² or if we need to get square of 84 we can use (80+4)².

@@nityarajanand1568 Yes, I agree 👍👍. Actually this is a good way not only for class 8, but for every classes you need to do so as it's quite easier because you can change a whole number like 99,etc to 90+9 or 100-1(and many other whole numbers) making calculation a bit easier :)

    Similarly 102^2 = 10404
    102+2 and 2^2 = 04 ,

Now that you have taught me so many new things i am just going to try them in my Math exam and see how my teacher reacts to it 😁
This just shows that squares and other powers are nothing but mutiplication
Never think that math is complicated and boring
If you remember the 4 operations you can remember everything
Consider fractions. They are nothing but a little conplicated term of *division* that is learnt in 3rd grade. Same with roots.
Exponents are also nothing but conplicated version of *multiplication* of a number by itself several times
Now multiplication and division themselves are nothing but complicated term of *Addition and Subtraction* repeatedly
    Examples :-
    3 × 3 = 3 + 3 + 3 = 9
    9 ÷ 3 = 3 - 3 - 3 = 0 ( quotient is 3 and remainder 0 )
    3^2 = 3 × 3 = 9
Square root of 9 = 9 divides by a number less than itself so that if its multiplied by itself its 9.
In this case its gonna be 3

any two digit number can be written as 10a+b where a and b are first and second digit respectively.
hence the square of that number is:
    (10a+b)² = (10a)² + 2(10a)(b) + (b)²
