Just wait man. If they put in the game all SOR content now, what they could bring later on DLCs? For sure they will make DLc with classic skins, Shiva, Roo ,Zan in the future. Im counting on it.
I like that the retro versions of SOR4's playable characters have unique moves of their own. Really makes them feel a bit more like their own characters rather than just being pixelated versions with less frames of animation and attacks.

Greatest game this year for me. Put me right back in the 90s in front of the tv with the colors way to bright and playing my 15 year old ass off doing actual dragonpunches. Great job and great game for the 22 euros i had to spend. Well worth it. Downloadable shiva and max and im set. Everything after that is just icing on the cake.
Those cheap shots from the CPU are so aggravating- but I understand you can’t have a character just 100%ing a section without taking any hits. It feels almost like the CPU keeps track and monitors that you’ve got a predetermined amount of hits on it, so it’s going to parry break whatever you do against it after too many hits. Unless you want to use a special or star move. Much more fun than SoR3 though..at least it’s somewhat fair.
Archer Sterling they’re comparable to the Galsia Knifers..the need prioritized and jabbed as they are approaching you right before they taser you, which opens them up to whatever combo. Easier said than done when lots of bad guys are on screen though.

Man, I remember Skate being the most BROKEN character in Streets of Rage. The right player would be completely untouchable. Would love to see that kid make an appearance as an adult in SOR 4.
I'm working on my characters so far I got classic Axel and classic Adam. Do I just keep playing the game to unlock the rest? I see a meter plays a part in that after you beat a stage.
Actually, the SOR3 skate at least can pls perform like how the level 3 star is better and heavy attack looking. Those enemy k.o. by the SOR3 Axel's final attack seem not flying high enough on air as compare on SOR3.
What about specials ? I know that Adam can dash and new girl can run, but other 3 I dont have idea, I expected a special back flip from Blaze but nothing
floyd can grapple two enemies at the same time and slam them into each other and blaze can do combos with the knife, not sure if she can do that with other pick up weapons.
Does this game not have roo and and ash? The character select looks uneven and those 2 would've made it even. I'm not dissapointed, this game is amazing, but you know, kinda weird
Why didn't they put in the enhanced star moves from SOR 3? This game is great, but it feels like they didn't want it to be TOO great. There's so much potential that they just passed up on for some odd reason.
I was expecting a way higher amount of characters with the modern art style, I’m kinda disappointed. I just finished the game and was having a blast until I found out there are so little characters. At least I played it off game pass, and didn’t have to pay for it.
@@acekhan2341 let them be. I've always find these kind of people annoying without regarding the hardwork of the devs who studied and understand SoR. I'm just glad SoR4 is here and released and still keep the spirit of the gane alive.

No, I feel like they could have done better, and I also feel like a two-hour story mode is way too short for today's standards. I am not disregarding the work that was put into the game, I just wanted more bang for my buck, is that wrong? There are other indie games out there that cost the same of SOR4 and have 20 hours of gameplay with the story mode alone (Hollow Knight is a prime example, so is Dead Cells) and those games are 100% worth every penny because of their quality AND quantity. With that said, SOR4 is still a fun game to play with or without friends.
It's funny how they made Axel weaker just to promote Adam, how a character that was practically never used (in my case and my opinion is clear) became so overrated ?
Axel can destroy 1vs1, but Adam can do everything. In the info says that Axel spent the last 10 years training and meditating (like SHIVA) and he can't run lol
Sor4 is a good game, however it was made by fans and for fans of Adam and his family, it wouldn’t change at all to leave the other characters as they were ... everyone ran and could dodge, left some slower and weaker than before. But each one has an opinion, whoever likes the character will not stop liking just for my words and whoever doesn't like it will continue not liking it, in the end play with everyone and see the best for you and don't just watch videos.

I feel like star moves are meant for enemies and not bosses. They do barely any damage to bosses!
yes, they do so little damage. i use it only for invincible frame
They are good for combo extenders or when the bosses summon extra goons
I use mine for max style mate
Some are especially good at keeping a combo going, like Cherry's

It’s called the lifetime score, everytime you get past that sign you get a new character.
