Palisade and Port Addition | Frostholm Lego Moc Part 4

- While the Ice Queen Rampages through Frostholm, Baldr must build his defenses. I am building my own Lego Castle Fantasy world. Each part will be a new add on to the world and will build out the lore of the world. Fostholm is a cold frozen land with many dangers and next to the sea is the small village of IcePoint. This video focuses on new additions I built for the moc such as the palisade that goes all the way around the village. Plus the new Doc and seashore.
This build was inspired by the Lego ideas Viking Village, the Lego Vikings theme and the CMF Snow Guardian.

I love this series, and i absolutely love it when theres a proper thought out story behind it all
Honestly I just kind of make it up as I go along long! I have a lot of fun making it up!
I love this Brad! Great idea.
Thank you so much!
According to your lore, there were no defenses around Ice Point until the chieftain Baldur began to erect the palisades. Without palisades, there’d be no need for a gate, which Baldur would have to have built, too. So I suppose that means the gate you showed us in Episode 1 was, well, Baldur’s Gate.
Ok this is the funniest coincidence I could’ve made😂😂😂 was not even thinking about that at all😂
How many gates do you think this Baldur has? I’ve counted at least 4
This build is absolutely STUNNING in person! There are so many little details that are best viewed in person. Photography just doesn't captured all of the visuals in Lego. It's a common issue I see with builds. Even Lego themselves seem to have trouble getting the little details to photograph well. Photos rarely do Lego justice I find. This build in person at BU ROC was amazing to see. It's far larger than I expected. Can't wait to see future expansions!
Honestly it’s something I struggle with when doing these Moc updates is how bad it sometimes looks in photos. But I’m glad you got to see it in person and enjoyed it!
@@BrickingUpBrad Photographing Lego is definitely tricky. Like I said, in person this is just stunning. I can't wait to see it again!
This is great! Excited for more, very well done
Glad you enjoyed it!
Haha I love this! There’s the reason why you are deemed The Legendary Storyteller! Keep up the good work! 🍻
Thanks so much! You honor me with that title🍻
I’ve built a ship before. One of my best original models from my childhood.
Best, not good.
That’s awesome!
This is such a good moc
Thank you so much!
dayum that lore is just fantastic and love the vid keep it op 👍
Thanks so much! Hoping to get more done soon for another video!
Great lore I hope to see more of this amazing work.
Trying to do one a month right now!
Awesome video! Great inspiration 🙂
Thank you!
YOUR MOC SERIES IS VERY GOOD
Thank you!
Oh I didn’t tell you last time you are free to use the idea I had to use the ice blade pieces over the skeleton torso!😊
Sounds good!
It looks sooo good bro was worth the wait
Thanks so much!🙏
@@BrickingUpBrad I love the creativity everything just looks really good together and looks like you put a lot of thought and effort into it
Yes new vid!!!!!!
😎
Great updates
Love the lore
The upcoming ice planet CMF minifigure could be an interesting addition, though its sci-fi, not viking type
I’m thinking about adding them as an Easter egg!
I hear ya building medieval boats is tough, I'm experimenting with boat builds on bricklink studio right now before I commit to building a real life ship
That’s a smart way to do it!
Just a little tip, I live for your rumors that you put out about future things you or goldfyre is about to make or do the next video about. And I was caught completely off guard with this video being out. Because I check all the time for what’s next. But great video, better lore. And an amazing moc. Keep up everything your fans love.
Honestly this was a very last minute video😂 but also it’s fun to surprise you guys 😉 glad you enjoyed it though!
@@BrickingUpBrad Thank you for replying. And yes ofc I’m gonna love it. My home town of Noctua is coming along just like yours. So I’m all glad to see you growing and expanding your world and lore you make up. Personally, this is my favorite stuff to hear from you man. I watch and re-watch these and your lore videos to gather ideas when building.
@@7tngguitar304 glad to hear they inspire you!
Ballard is a figure in norse myths
True. A lot of Vikings were named after characters like that. But I spell mine baldr
That looks very beautiful and will you be adding ships for your village for trading
As I said near the end of the video I do plan to make ships eventually
@@BrickingUpBrad well i have a small fleet of ships i made for my medieval army i think there are a few videos with them on my channel if you want to watch them for inspiration for your future ships
CAN WE GET A FULL VIDEO JUST ABOUT THE ICE QUEEN AND HER BACK STORY
At some point yes!
I did do some back story in part 3 for her
Are you planning to make custom banners/ sails for this faction?
Maybe at some point but haven’t planed on it yet.
This has been really good, I haven't seen anyone else tie a storyline in with their moc series.
Thank you! Honestly I enjoy making up the lore and stories way more then moc building! 😂😂 definitely have plans after I finish this to do another moc lore series!
You can use the specter for the Halloween cmf’s cape for the frost walkers
Not a bad idea
I really enjoy this series! Thanks for this video man! It also really reminds me of the Ice Village from Ninjago in the Ice Emperor season.
Glad you enjoyed it, and are enjoying the series!
The add/subtract wall idea is really clever. This is turning out great.
Very awesome fort legorado vibes
Thanks man! Honestly Viking fort and Legorado are were definitely inspirations for this!
I recommend that if you want a good Viking looking fishing boat watch bricksanddice’s video on how to make one using bricks all available on PAB and it only cost me £30 including postage I can imagine it will be a similar price in America I have one and plan to get many more as they also go amazing next to the Viking village. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing how your snow Viking world turn out
I will check it out! I would like to do one from scratch but we shall see!
Fantastic dude, your MOCs are cool!!!
Thank you so much!
do you like bionicle. i do
I do, made a video about them
awesome
Thank you!
Very cool series, I really like it.
Glad to hear it!
Here's something to consider to help develop the setting. How is the cheiftan inherited father to son, is it voted on in an all-thing? Is it a life time position?
So original I had made the previous owner of the town his father. But I made it vague in the video for a reason but I want to work that out more.
@@BrickingUpBrad sorry if it came off harsh btw. Can't wait to see how it develops
@@jbearstudios7215 no I thought that was a good question! Just wanted to explain why I didn’t explain that more!
I don't want to be the one who says they're first, but it's too late I guess.
YOUR FIRST!!!! Lets goo!
