This would be the ultimate gig for me.
    Clapton and Hendrix playing together.
I have always imagined what a record by Jimi and Eric would sound now...❤❤

Jimi got up to jam with Cream, played Killing Floor, Eric walked off, but yeah, I get what you're saying. Would've loved to hear Jimi & Jimmy Page.

I'm re-reading Harry Shapiro's HENDRIX biography. Just the information alone on Jimi's parents and grandparents is fascinating. Thanks for this great clip with Eric.

I had the joy and honour to see the Greatest, Jimi Hendrix playing his Strats and Gibsons . His aura , his energy , his 🧲 magnetic presence was overwhelming . He was so confident , humble , relaxed but still completely energetic as well . He played these riffs and solos effortlessly. , What a showman . He and Eric were best friends .

Don't mistake Hendrix's Vanity with his insecurities, he thought he had a terrible singing voice. I'm sure it carried over to his looks and clothes.
Plus he came from a humble upbringing, and is now able to afford some nice clothes. So why not keep it classy with a bit of flash, the Man bore his heart and soul to us through his music his image was part of his expression or should I say his experience the Jimi Hedrix experience.

Humble is putting it lightly, he grew up poor & usually only had one pair of shoes(all he had when he got to London). He was finally able to be who he wanted to be as an image, yet he was still the quiet shy humble guy. Just an amazing soul.

I saw this documentary on Jimi and Clapton was so high on heroin, if you can see him on a big screen his eyes are pinned, and he kept scratching his arms and face, but his eyes gave him away, no pupils , and when they show one of Hendrix girlfriends she was a mess , nodding out on camera , you should watch the documentary that this clip comes from

Yes , Eric played CA in 1970 with the Dominos looking like this video . What a great talent , as well . He was playing Blackie Strat with Jim Gordon , Bonny Whitlock et all . I saw Clapton with Cream on 1968 playing the Gibson SG , painted by The Fool . Just amazing playing with Jack and Ginger. Very loud and virtuosos playing their asses off .
