Flying on a private jet is one of the strongest (and most expensive) drugs out there. One time, and you understand why those who can, do. I’ve been fortunate enough to fly on a number of different jets for work. Always puts a smile on your face.

Okay Roman, start planning for retirement because your kid is taking over! It is amazing how well spoken, well educated, well informed, and genuinely curious Tommy is about everything, and this piece was just so fantastic and engaging it's mind blowing. Tommy, great job, keep it up, you are already starting to outshine your Dad, and this video review just proves that the sky is literally the limit for you and everything you are going to do in the future! Swear to god you could review a model train set and make it interesting! What's next? Interviewing a NASA administrator and doing a review on the latest space program projects? I wouldn't be surprised, and I would watch every minute of it! Hey Discovery Channel are you listening? You put this young guy in front of a camera anywhere in the world on any subject, and he is going to be s STAR!

Guys. This is freaking awesome!! I’ve been a car nerd my whole life so I love the channels for that, but I’m also a pilot and aviation geek so you’re starting to merge my two life’s passions and I could not be happier! It’s always so fun for me as a pilot to watch someone be introduced to the world of aviation, especially private aviation, and see the sheer joy and even shock it can bring to someone. Keep up the awesome work, and if I had my way, more aviation content please!!!

As someone who loves Cars and is also a Pilot this really hits a sweet spot. TFL Flight sounds like a great sub-channel. Think its about time for Tommy to get his pilots license and team up with aircraft manufacture's (Cessna / Diamond?) to review airplanes.

You just lived one of my life goals! I want to fly in a Citation X one day. Its been my favorite private jet since I watched an interview with Michael Waltrip after a race in Fontana, CA he talked about hitching a ride on one and it taking like three and half to four hours to get back to Charlotte,NC. I’ve researched and studied them ever since. I even have FlightAware on my phone tracking when a Citation X leaves or lands at my nearest airport in the hopes I can catch a glimpse of one in the sky. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.

I've flown on the X many times. In fact, I've flown on the X that holds speed records in the USA to this day. They're incredible. You did an amazing job on this video. You guys have to do the new Honda Jet, it's a light jet but OMG is it amazing. The difference between jets and cars is in the millions and millions, and the cost per hour to fly these aircraft is mind boggling. You have to be a very well off person or own a very successful business to own one of these types of aircraft. I'm neither, I just happen tohave a few friends who are both. LOL I'm your basic Hyundai Hybrod type of guy, but I have good taste and generous friends. LOL Props to the gentleman showing you everything, excellent job from both of you. When I worked for Menards Corporate, all of our travel to stores was done on Menards-owned aircraft. Back around 2009, they had some 18-seat Beechcraft prop planes and some smaller Cessna Citation Bravo jets (I know they have upgraded their fleet since then). On one trip to Indianapolis, we rode in a Bravo. When we returned to the airport to fly back to Wisconsin later that day, our Bravo had to go in for service, so we got to ride in John Menard's Citation X (N585M). What a great ride...super smooth and it was fast. Our normal trip from Indy to Eau Claire was over an hour, but the Citation X did it in a little over 45 minutes.

Now for the bad news: this plane rents for $6500 per HOUR. If you’re not part of a fractional ownership and want to fly one way to Denver, you also have to pay for the plane’s flight back without you!
Regular people who get rides in these say wish they hadn’t: they’re forever spoiled. It’s just like being in the market for a Camry and test driving an S600 just for fun. Not the greatest of ideas.

You should have covered the cost per hour to run these planes too. Most people would be surprised they run from 3000/hr for a small Cirrus Vision Jet but quickly ramp up to t 5000 to 20k plus per hour. So cross country non stop takes a larger jet with range so you are looking at 50k coast to coast or 100k round trip.

I used to work for a large corporation with a small fleet of corporate jets (Citation Xs to be exact) and yes, the hype of flying private can not be overstated. One call out, a private jet is much louder than flying in a commercial plane, and you do feel slightly cramped usually, especially compared to commercial first class. Though the flight itself is not better, the whole experience is what makes it... the speed, convenience, location of FBO airports compared to large airports. Its all a bit surreal if you are used to the post 911 airport experience in America.
