Even when you dont understand the lyrics, the sadness of this song is like it fitted in the whole grief of this world, so sad and so beautiful. I cried a lot when heard first time, I still caught in tears after 3 years. This is one of the best performances in Korean music industry so far. and there so many left to discover too. as a character, perhaps even the lead character. she could be a gisaeng who becomes the singer for the royalty og becomes royalty herself. just feel like she would fit in that era

It would have to be set during the Goryeo dynasty though because that is when the gisaeng flourished the most .. but there is not a lot of dramas made in that period. With all that aside though .. have you seen Song's CFs? She is a beyond phenomenal singer but her acting is sooo bad lol

Saenghwang matches her clear light voice that gives a reminiscing feel to the song. Ajaeng matches her low notes to show deep sorrow. Haegeum matches her high notes emphasizing the pain of a breakup. Actually, her beautiful voice is like 3 of the traditional instruments fit into one tiny figure. Felt the song is too short. LOL it's 6 minutes long. Oh well, hit replay.
