You made me smile, loving on the baby bunnies like that.
Get cheap cookie sheets with sides.
Add water then freeze. They can lay on top of them
John, you just have the kindest, most loving, generous heart!!!!
The ingenuity and care for these animals is amazing.
You are so clever with the fan and copper tubing and the solar panel. This is the only rabbitry channel I've seen that's done this. It sure saves on the electric bill. Where do you learn this? I also saw the video with the computer fans... these are very inventive solutions.
Yes it did help. I have a barn to use for keeping bunnies cool and your ideas will help with my setup. Thanks.
I’m making that swamp fan for myself!!!
Lisa A Johnson I needed one of those when I was pregnant 😂😂😂
It's great to see a new video. Hope y'all are doing good 😊. God bless and stay strong 💪
Like what uour doing with your channel lota of good common sense information delivered in a down ro earth manner from one dude to another good job!
I do the frozen water battles with my rabbits to, and they seem to love it. That's an awesome idea with the swamp cooler thing, I'm gonna have to rig something up like that myself for sure! Hope y'all are having a great week!
Hey Andy!
It’s great to see you Brother! The sound is SPOT ON! Take care of yourself. I hope all is well! God Bless.
This was very educational, I have been preparing for summer so this was real helpful
Yep it sure is hot today. A bit ago when I was trimming the yard it was 91 with a heat index of 103. Glad the bunnies are cool and happy. Thanks for sharing. Love y'all.
Great ideas for keeping rabbits cool. Don't have rabbits yet, but learning as much as I can. Thank you for sharing.
Hope you are doing good god bless you and your family why have you not put any new videos out hear lately
I hope that you are well

Thank you, I appreciate it. :)
I like watching your videos pretty cool hope you and your family is doing good i learn so much god bless you and your family probably dosnt mean much from a poor boy from missouri
Hi John, been a while. A friend here in CT has rabbits, chicks, and a few 4 legged animals. He was doing the ice like you and wet towels that they can ly or walk on. But being his little barn a few feet from the house he tied into his air/heat system in the house and ran a duct about a foot underground so when the air is running they are cooler and heat in the winter. He said it doesn't cost any more seeing the thermostatic is in the house. I did the same thing to the dog house, I ran afoot underground from the top of the 6in pipe and about 12 feet to the dog house from our furnace, tied right into the plenum. The boys have a dog door into/out of the main house but sometimes one may want to be alone or sleep out.
Looks like a great system, could work for off grid situation also!
Good to see video. Thanks
Hello stranger Great to see you again don't leave it so long next time !!!
Well look showed up...lol Good to see you again, John.
Great information, thanks for sharing 👍🏼☘️👍🏼
That is some good sound advice. Be good jnull0!
Yea!! A jnull0 video! I lost a doe 3 years ago and I was devastated. For those who just use outdoor hutches...I say shade trees are worth their weight in gold. I had provided shade by tarp...but it caught the hot air and trapped it near the rabbits. I watched your older cool down video and added tile and ice. Haven't lost one since.
Thank you
Very glad to see you posting on here again...been missing ya Bro :0
Hey buddy great to see you
Hey big lad where you been ? .. Man I used to love the old videos from years ago when you were still making them every few days with coffee chats and prepping around the homestead.. 70 thousand subs and we've all been forgotten dude !!.. bought your merch to give you a hand up the ladder but now you're back at the top with fancy trucks and boats you've forgot all the folk who put you there... you'll have your own discovery series soon mate!! Chur bro
swamp coolers were the thing to use back when i was in el paso
Great video
My husband and I would love to see you post a little more often! We miss seeing your videos and always jump for joy when you post a new one. We hope the family is doing well and God Bless!!!
Nice video.philippines
Good to see ya. Was glad to see the notification. Those white wire cages are those made from shelving and can ya give some info on how ya built them. I don't have rabbits but would make a nice live box for fish I believe. Once again good to see ya.
Love your videos! Been watching you for a while, but this is first time as my own YT channel. Thank you so much for this video! Love your cage builds!
Great vid jnull0
👍👍
Hey John good to see you on here again ... What about Porkchop? I will see about Mark making that fan, we already have one out there and we might even have the stuff already.
Well howdy stranger, I thought you got rich and famous and forgot all about us peons. Glad to see you're still amongst the living.
So very wonderful to see you again. I really like the coil system on the fan.. Does Miss Mary also use the cooling fan on her show bunnies?
My cat and Yorkie are both indoor pets. When JC and go on his walks in this weather, he loves ice cubes in his water bowl when we get back. That is till my sassy cat comes by and tries to steal them! She on the other hand does not like ice water at all.
these are my show bunnies lol
AC fer rabbits...I like it!
I brought my momma bunny inside a few days ago.
Don't know if it would work but Solar Cabin Lamar had a small swamp cooler thing that really works. Cost less than $30.00. 12 volt or 120 v.
Hey Jnullo. I was checking out your cages. Looks like they have taken a beating over the years. Curious how long you have had them? Looks like the coating has worn or eating off. Enjoy your videos!!
I love your rabbits whats ypur next video about
Hey John i was wondering what wattage is the solar panel and where did you purchase it and thanks for the awsome video as usual
Hi, It would be great to seperate the cages with only cage pieces so they can see each other. They are less stressful and happier that way, I live in the EU and recenlty we had discussions about it in CAP ( EU "common agricultural policy") and there's a good chance we'll adapt it and that will be the only way. Please if you can change those plastic things into cage pieces, even if they feel better just a little bit It worths it. I hope all is well, I wish happines and good health for you, family and for the animals. Sorry for the bad English.
we have tryed this and the moody does try to fight each other and bite each others noses, rabbits are very territorial! they are not happier this way and i cant take rabbits with chewed up fur and faces to show, thank you for your concern
@@desertrose984 Where I worked they only used this method and they didn't hurt each other, what you could do if that happens is take 2 cage pieces with a small space inbetween. So they can see each other, they can go for a smell, but not actually reach others.
@@desertrose984 Now I remember even when we had to move them from one place to the near other, we took 10-11 together in a smaller cage and a cart for a couple minutes and they haven't hurt each other either then.
insulate the roof !
Great suggestions, thanks for sharing. Im considering a “swamp cooler” like yours. Combining water & electric makes me nervous tho, lol. Does the copper coil just coil around and drain back into the cooler?
Yes it returns to the tank and recycles...................J
Its a Jnull0 sighting!
I love your cages ...but I have to have very small wire due to snakes ..They'd even kill my grown rabbits ..Thank you for the I formation ....
Thanks John. This is some really good info that will come in handy out here in the upper Mojave desert. It's very, very dry here, with high drying winds that come across the desert. Plus it can get extremely hot! What breed do you think would do best in these conditions?
breeds with large ears, although desert heat is better then humid heat, you will get better cooling with a mister system, the evaporation will cool nicely
New to raising rabbits so I'm kinda wingin it and watching a lot of your videos. I'm guessing when the temp is approaching 85 to 90 F is when you should start taking steps to cool off the rabbits?
I am moving to the desert o don't know how hot it gets there but I know the desert can get to 120°. But it is dry not humid. Do you think this will work in desert heat?
Are you still using rain water for them? I saw the other video but here looks like a smaller container.
Can I see a gardening video?
Where is your coffee cup?
Our neice (aged 14) has a rabbit and has just moved it outside. She did not have an outside cage till her dad built one. I'll pass on the tip of water rubbed on the ears. What I'm concerned about is that the cage is on the ground and not up off the ground. She reasons that this way the animal can feed on the fresh grass. Which would be a better choice ground level or up off the ground?
if the rabbit is not used to eating grass you could cause bloat by allowing it to eat grass without first starting slow and working it in over a couple weeks time, also the ground carries parasites and you will need to treat for cocci and worms a couple times a year
What's the name of the rehydration tablet you be using
www.rowenutrition.com/product-page/hydralyte
Cover the window up for the summer??
its not covered but closed somewhat to keep less hot air coming in from outside, keeping barn cooler as cooler air recirculates
Where can I get a rabbit in nj or can I get one from you?
I have 2 Rex rabbits 1 male and 1 female that are about 3 months old and just had to separate them because he was trying to mount her. I thought I had more time before I had to separate them. How can I tell if she's pregnant?
About the only way to know for sure is if she has babies in about 30 days......................J
@@jnull0 Ok. She wasn't letting him, but I can't be sure he didn't since there isn't someone watching them 24/7 ya know?
What about dealing with rabbits that have low trust and just jump to attack you
Hey im not the only one switched too different ice bottles dang stinkers would tear up the pop bottles
No I just drink a lot of PowerAde.
Filthy, disgusting conditions. Those poor bunnies.
Anyone have meat rabbits they wanna sell me ?
I’m putting no hate on you but try to get rid of those wire bottom cages
