Just consider identity it what makes everyone who they are, need to be. When you think about Clark Kent, you see his glasses and his upbringing and what he becomes from fram boy to top-notch reporter then a family man, a father and husband, and possibly human a man who has for years kept his glasses on and told to never lie, but he kept his glasses on. Superman wears a cape and an S on his chest, a symbiotic meaning of hope he has wore this symbol not hide but to give of himself as a symbol of hope and justice and he still wares those glasses as a symbol to of humanity a pair of glasses a man from the stars hasn't lied his just a ordinary man with a powerful symbol of family and love for his wife and kids. Kal El of Krypton is more than the sum of what it is to be ordinary and powerful his that man with two lives. Now his chosen to reveal his identity as an ordinary hero with a symbiotic tale of a legend, a father and husband, and a friend to humanity. The story is far from told the truth is identity can be both a curse and a pleasure, and I believe those glasses will remain his true self. Jonathan and Jordan will need to take from their fathers' stand and do it their own way as both heroes and sons of parents who have taught them to do the right thing, as did Jon and Martha did for Kal El (Clark Kent) this series has layers yet to be told it a wish at a point in the future this story shall be seen inside a comic or in a movie sequel say 4 years on?

@argotic8378 Yes, unfortunately true and unlikely to change, but sometimes faith in his belief in humanity is strong, although sometimes when you have individuals like Lex, that trust is tested, but Clark Kent see the good in every single human and most are it's just honesty and trusted that can be lacking in people's eyes. Of course, Superman will probably have a problem with those in the government and other of his enemies. He has his family first to protect, and with help from some of his heroic friends, they will provide safety alongside his friends from The Daily Planet and surround them with too much protection. Could also have it problems. Lex is the minority here if ever he dares to in danger Clarks family it could turn Superman into Injustice Superman and remember the Joker in that the same could happen to Lex?

@Jamesalec63 While I agree with everything you said I meant it in a literal sense. I believe Kent's will be heavily monitored and perhaps be used for military purposes. Superman is the ultimate weapon and now that he's been exposed there's no telling what's happen to his children or grandchildren.
The reality is Kent's aren't able to live normally anymore which prevents them from forming meaningful connections as they're always going to be viewed as weapons in alot of people's eyes. I understand not everyone will view the Kent's as weapons. Lois Lane sees the humanity in Clark but I can't help but feel as though since coming out it'll be near impossible to have any resemblance in normality.

The problem with modern day superhero stories is that they try too hard to make them relatable to real life scenarios. When in reality itself it’s not meant to be that way. It’s fiction for a reason. We’re talking about high powered superheroes whether it’s brawn or brain. Cartoons and comics are meant as escapes from reality to take us on adventures that are impossible to give us something to day dream about. It’s gotten way too serious and dark. Superman was always meant to be “light” and a symbol of hope. Even Batman has gotten way too dark. He also was never meant to be this dark. And for those who say otherwise never read the original comics nor watched the original shows. He was a crime fighting detective. So by making these characters relatable and having more villains and friends see their true identity then it takes away the whole landscape of awe and wonder from the comic universe. It’s not special anymore. It’s supposed to be impossible. That’s what makes it attractive.
