  • FIGHT AGAINST ISLAMISM: "Chancellor in Deep Sleep" - CSU Demands Consistent Deportations
In an interview with WELT, Martin Huber, General Secretary of the CSU, emphasizes the urgency of concrete measures against radical Islamism and the necessity for faster deportations of criminals. He sharply criticizes Chancellor Olaf Scholz, calling him a "chancellor in deep sleep" who only reacts when something has already happened. Scholz had announced more deportations in October last year, but according to Huber, no actions have followed so far.
Huber highlights that the Greens do not support the Chancellor's plans, which he considers fatal. The issue is the security situation in Germany, not in Afghanistan. He demands that calls for a caliphate be made punishable, as they mean the introduction of Sharia law and the abolition of the Basic Law. Huber emphasizes that the Basic Law must apply and these demands should be prosecuted accordingly.
Furthermore, Huber criticizes the left's false tolerance towards radical Islamists and warns against parallel societies. He calls for strengthened and deepened repatriation agreements with other states and stresses that concrete actions, not just big words, are finally needed.
Finally, Huber underscores that the security situation in Germany must be a priority and that the current traffic light coalition government is failing in terms of security and internal safety. Action must be taken now to restore the people's basic trust in the state and politics.
