f0rest & get_right 100%, I knew of them when I was 12 years old, I'm 25 in a couple of months, that's how long they've been about causing heatwaves in the professional scene.
Legend who is still playing: f0rest Legends from the past (I can't choose one guy): HeatoN, Potti, SpawN, walle and zet are probably my top 5. So many legends out there though. I could probably name 25-30 people.
Perhaps one of the earliest teams to dominate would be a debate between the Pentagram legends : Neo, LordB, KUbenB, Luq and Taz or the SK/NIP legends : Walle, Face, Potti, RObban, Heaton

No one remembers how good fRoD was back in the day.. Easily the best in source, there has never been a more unstoppable player in his prime. Makes the best awpers today seem worthless in comparison. Had his career been later in the game and he had more reason to stick around he could've been the best in csgo too. Even casually playing he managed a short comeback into the pro scene pretty effortlessly. Also for the NA scene AdreN(hoag) is pretty legendary. Probably the best towards the end of source and early NA csgo. He was also one of if not the first pro csgo twitch streamer. A true pioneer.
