- Carl Meadows grew up feeling like an outsider. As a result of being raised in an environment where gay people were bullied and looked down on, Carl struggled with fear and shame during his adolescence. Despite the challenges he faced, Carl achieved things he never thought possible, found pride and eventually repaired his relationship with his father, who, after many years, has finally been able to accept him.

Good man. I couldn't publicly come out until I was in my late 20s. What a relief. Trying to be "straight" was very tiring, and coming out was like I was reborn to myself. I became my own parent and friend, one who loved me unconditionally.
Wow. What a nice man and great story.glad his dad came around and accepted him.
Wise man, wise words. I'm happy he had hid dad's love and acceptance.
What an amazing story about an amazing man. Thank you so much for sharing this! ☮️❤️🌈
Beautiful!! I loved your story! ♥️
Thanks for sharing ❤
This is such a wonderful story!
Thank you for sharing. We all have a story unfortunately some of our stories don’t end happily. Hello from White Rock. My family vacationed in Penticton from the early 60’s into the 2000s.
Emotional 😭. You are a beautiful soul. My partner and I will celebrate 🎉 37 years in November 12, 2024. Emotional 😭 God bless you 🙏 Amen.
Respect ❤
Very inspiring and importatnt, especially for our youth who are struggling with identity.
Wow super handsome
Wonderful story!
You are a very attractive man
I've lived all over the US, Japan, Scotland, retired psych. nurse working with the criminally insane in all the places I've lived. I'm 59, gay man and I have no story and it's ok.
Of course you do, you just told the Cliff Note version!
❤️🤗
At the end of the story the ordinary looking middle aged woman showed up and had chat with that guy in the video. Are they same by the way ? They are ? the entire story was telling his dad was picking on him ever since he was a kid. That means in his dad's eye, he looked his son a gay boy not the middle aged woman. That is the point I'm always confused with who is playing the role of who. But in the end he and his dad are close back together. It is sort of happy ending for the gay man.
Sounds like the dad feared for his son's safety and not so much that he despised him, but did not have the ability to express it appropriately. So it came out mean. Maybe. Maybe it was both. When confronted with something unknown or feared, people react in weird ways. I suppose in one way the father's meanness pushed the son to achieve something he might not have otherwise, his nursing degree. I'm so glad they have been able to reconcile in such a sweet way!
Handsome men cute nice
Carl seems neurodivergent as well as his dad. 🖤✔️🐝
